It’s funny. Cloud was also the main character of Final Fantasy 7, and he wasn’t my favorite then either.
I had this in my RSS, and I thought I was reading XKCD for a minute.
We obviously need more woo 😛
Stats are made for people who need an outside form of validation, rather than validating themselves.
As you can ladies and gentlemen of the board, there has been a serious drop in the number of Woo and Sandra appearances. Meanwhile Larisa has spiked dramatically. I must conclude that this is a plan set forth by the Russians to sully our minds with Larisa’s weirdness. We must increase the appearances of our cute title characters on the double or else I fear that this comic will soon become *shudder* NSFW. And for god sakes can we get Cloud and Sandra to kiss already? This concludes this emergency meeting. Have a good evening ladies and gentlemen and hopefully we can get this comic to be about Sandra and Woo again soon.
Cloud is hindering Larisa’s Ultimate Rise to Power… that’s a dangerous situation, martial arts boy… nobody gets in Larisa’s way.
Then again, she likes him. Tough luck girl!
Henceforth the comic will be called “Sandra and Cloud”.
Or does that sound too much like the diary of a weathergirl?
It’s okay with all the Cloud+Sandra thing… but the comic is called Sandra&WOO, not Sandra and Cloud.
I need more Woo T^T
“Sandra & Woo & Friends”
…which sounds like the coolest Saturday morning cartoon ever.
I’ve only just noticed that you’ve changed your tagline. It used to be a webcomic of comedy, romance and the art of not eating squirrels, but considering that a tertiary character like Ye Thuza has overtaken the so-called secondary characters of Sid and Shadow it’s probably better how it is.
Interesting. I’d think Larissa would be more proheminent in the chart.
@ MrGBH:
The tagline is random. But it took me also a while to notice. Refresh and everytime something new will appear (don’t know how many exist). Only downside is that the text is part of the banner and not easy to copy…

Edit to my post. At least I thought the tagline was part of the banner. But I found out it is text. I was really sure that sometime last year it was still a picture…
I guess that explains why Ye Thuza’s font size seemed to double overnight in the “tags” box
Hmm… if these trends keep up it’s just a mater of time before the comic will have to rename itself “Larisa and Cloud” *wink*
Seriously, I don’t really see anything particularlly out of sink in those stats. The main 4 characters are on top and some of the secondary characters have switched around abit but they are still secondary.
well…that..is…Interesting.. as long as you are happy… (Shrinks back a bit frightened)
@Bcool4ever:
To wit, I’ve just seen one proclaiming it’s about lots of romance, some sarcasm, little math and no language.
(And I did just see one about the art of (Not) eating squirrels. So my previous statement is foolish and misinformed).
Heh, don’t let Woo see that chart. He might get the tranquilizer gun out again.
Although honestly, there’s no reason we’d have to rename the comic, the last couple of arcs were a bit focused on developing Sandra and Cloud’s relationship, which couldn’t be done if Woo was around (especially since Cloud doesn’t know he can talk yet). So the lot of you, pipe down.
I think it is really sweet that this diagram show just how much closer Cloud and Sandra are now =)
they started far apart on the graph, and now they are next to each other ^^
Shadow could use more screentime.
As a comic matures, it’s pretty natural for more of the spotlight to hit the side characters. After all, the heroes usually are a bit vanilla in comparison to their friends and enemies. Still, I agree that a little more Woo would be nice.
I quite like the balance of characters, as it is. I think that it makes sense that as time goes on, you would add more characters, and that those characters would get time as well. So it comes as no surprise that there is a bit of screen time taken away from the main characters. There really is nothing wrong with that.
Though again, I’m sort of inclined to agree with some of the other commenters, I do think that Woo’s screen time should average a bit higher than most of the other characters, just because he’s in the title.
Other than that little criticism, I have nothing to complain about. Your comic is great, and I really enjoy reading it. I look forward to another few years of your excellent comics, and I do so hope that you continue to enjoy making them.
