Gaia – Example page
Powree has drawn the following page of Gaia as a proof of concept. It took her two full days to finish the page, so the start date and the update schedule of the comic is still in limbo.

wow look really neat XD
It looks really great! I can’t wait to see the next one. 😀
haha, awsome 🙂
And cute 😉
You have me interested. Please keep me updated. 🙂
What is this based on? Gaia Online? Guild Wars 2? Your own creation?

Gaia is an original setting, with various influences by Final Fantasy VII to IX, Harry Potter and Baldur’s Gate 2.
Hey, that looks really good. That and the references has me interested too. 🙂
meh…NOT!
I really like it.
However…..I’m curious, what did he say in the first box? “Hey, how did you know it was —“
Is that a new webcomic you’re planning? Me wants!

Ilias’ first line of dialog on this page does not make much sense without the previous page which is not yet finished.
Looks great, one question:
@Novil
Is the person sitting in the chair talking in panels# 4 & 5 a girl, or just a really pretty boy?

It’s a girl: Alissa Itoriel, the best friend of Lilith.
Oooooh, pretty lights.
Yeah, I’m amused by the simplest things.
Looks great. I’m looking forward to the comic.
From the sample page, I could say all sorts of “ooh ” and “ahh” and stuff, but the simple thing is this.
I would read it. 🙂
I know from Sandra and Woo that storylines can be complex and interesting, and the art on the sample page is excellent. Yup, I would definately read it.
…How the *cough* did I NOT notice the posts about GAIA before now? It’s pratically my favourite type of webcomic! Not only that, but with a drawing style I know and love! What’s not to like, really? xD
Also, Final Fantasy’s/Harry Potter’s/BALDUR’S GATE 2’s influences? Yep, definitely hooked. 😀
I want to read more, but I understand the need of time, so I’ll just wait (as) patiently (as possible) ’till it’s ready to be published. 😀
Well, this isn’t part of the editing contest, obviously, but in panel 4 I think the word you want is “archmage” (an especially powerful wizard, sorcerer, or magician – via Wiktionary). Unless you’re creating a new type of magic user called an arcmage.
