The current story arc started with this strip: A New Adventure.
She wanted to get rid of that old phone with an analog keypad anyway.
We’re still looking for suggestions for Sandra and Woo merchandise.

And the record for a throw of a cellphone by a really pissed red head is well over a kilometer.

“Looks like cheap Chinese merchandise is blasting off again!”
And now they don’t have the option to combine a working battery and a working cellphone anymore…

That’s not an adventure-game where you can combine everything ;-).
I’d suggest selling T-shirts, maybe some mouse pads, if you’ve got any skill/can pay enough, some Woo Plushes wouldn’t be that hard to sell.
Also the comic in Dead Tree Format.
Becareful Larissa, in comedy comics there’s an unwritten law when you throw something in a forest there’s a 50/50 chance it will hit a sleeping bear, waking him up and making him angry, followed by comical running and screaming by the whole casts.
But we have Cloud! he’ll whip out a branch and beat the crap out of that bear, drooping 3X Bear Skins, 2X Raw Meats, Pendant of Bear (+5 attack, +1 slash attack active skill, +15 defense, +1 tough skin passive skill, -3 Speed) and $35 (Tax deducted)
Larisa RAGE! I think she’s gonna hit one of Cloud’s Mom’s friends in Burma…
I love Larisa’s rage in the second panel! I wonder why Cloud know the world record for a thrown cell-phone lol.
@ JZ: The comic was put into Dead Tree format, but they had to take it down because it didn’t sell enough.
@ AckAckAck: What if it lands on one of the predators that we’ve seen chasing Sid?
There’s actually a trick using some tinfoil and a match to give a cell phone battery a short charge. Of course, with the phone way out in the woods, that’s not going to help much.
China has spaceshuttles? That thing just got in a low orbit…
Other question: Why does Cloud know that exact value?
I mean: I’m also a walking encyclopedia of weird (and mostly useless) knowledge, but this? o_Ô
Oh, and one last thing:
I always thought Larisa is a fire-domain Cleric, a fire crazed Druid or a Red Dragon Sorceress but now I must also consider the barbarian class…
If I get hit by a cell phone, Larisa, I will not be amused.

Nope, it have to be a bear, why? because there’ll be an obligatory standing angry bear scene, optional scene where one of the cast start wetting his/her pant (in animated form you can add a sudden comical crying, see Johnny Bravo), followed with running as fast as they can, flailing arms and screaming by one or more casts.
Also noted that people believe that bear is not fast enough to actually catch someone, even though in reality they can run faster than a horse in short distance.
I think I need to create a tvtrope page for this running and screaming segment, but my English is lacking, need someone with better English than I do, someone want to volunteered to do this?
This might be me being dumb, but I swear Sandra’s been missing for a while…

…and the phone hits a plane, forcing it to crash land, which in turn prompts the sending of a rescue team, and the day is saved!
wonder what her reaction to haveing no incilen would be. other then keeling over dead of corse.
And in another comic, an adventuring party is saved when a projectile shaped like a cell phone comes out of nowhere and knocks out the ultimate evil

Holy cow, I can hear the “whoosh-weet-weet” sound produced by the phone as it sails through the air.
Littering is illegal. And discarded cell phones leach chemicals that are toxic enough to qualify the phones as hazardous waste. Not a good thing to hurl into a forest, Larisa!
And still no sign of Sandra…

wow. I actually got a scenario – part of it anyway – right! now lets see…..
Sandra is lost! The group must travel through uncharted woods led by a distraught woo and a determined cloud to find the missing heroine! Can Larisa keep her hands to herself long enough to be of any help? Find out in the next installation!
Maybe the cellphone lands on/near sandra or a rescue group?

There’s another law of cartoon/comic physics, that such things have a tendency to appear several panels/moments later, having gone through a bizarre series of bounces and slides, to hit the person who threw it in the back of the head at an awkward moment. :p Though if Smokey Bear makes an appearance (see the note on ad placement elsewhere) then we’ll know they’re ok.
Question is where did Sandra go? Is she elsewhere along the bank? On the opposite shore? None of Woo’s friends know about her, except for Shadow (don’t remember if they’ve been formally introduced though) so it could be interesting if she is huddled up somewhere, critters around her snarling, she calls to Woo for help (who does hear but has to make a major dash to get to her) meantime, the critters surrounding her change their manner, inexplicably…never underestimate such a scene. Woo could arrive ready to fight only to find her draped warmly by, say, Shadow and family with others nearby for warmth, some fruit piled up near here while the European squirrel is dropping grapes into her mouth or something. Woo’s reaction to that scenario could be hilarious. 😀

timezones, both the writer and artist live in GMT+ timezone for example the writer lives in germany, germany is GMT+1
My guess: They’ll find Sandra washed up on shore, unconsious. Cloud’ll try and do CPR, but one of the other three will do it instead. Or he’ll actually be able to “kiss” her, but it won’t count.
In 8 years, i think this is the first thing that gave me the motivation to vote for every day (even doing it twice by mistake sometimes).
Keep going, this is just absolutely great.

So i just read the entire comic to date (bad day and i ran across it for the first time) and after it all i love it but am still confused as to where they are. As in what country do they live in?
