The current story arc started with this strip: a.r.t.I.
There are six new polls that appear randomly in the voting box on the right sidebar of the webpage. They’re mostly about topics that advertisers find interesting about the visitors of a website. It would be good if I could provide our advertisers some solid facts about the composition of our readership.
- Larisa: He ruined my painting!
- Ivan : She ruined my painting!
- Jelena: Shhhh!
- Jelena: Yes, Mr. Morgenthau, something clever for the exhibition in San Francisco … Oh, looks like my husband just finished two new paintings … Yes, I can send you a photo.
- Jelena: $5,000?! … Yes, that sounds very good! I’ll send you the paintings as soon as the paint is dry.
- Jelena: What was that about ruined pictures?

Wonder if Jelena’s look is about… How were the pictures ruined, and hope it wasn’t the ones i just sold…
Collab is a wonderful thing.
This one was pretty good, ages ago i was one of those badmouthers that thought this comic was going the way of the recent simpons but now i’m quite happy to see that it’s still got it. But please, please put up a comic with Woo and Lily soon, it’s been almost 150 strips since we saw her.
Most people already said that it’s funny how stunned the two are or how much money they made, but so far no one pointed out how CONVIENENT it is that right at that MOMENT the guy called for pictures… that’s not a complaint I just find that funny. 😀
BTW what do you think will Larisa flip out cuz her mom said both paintings are made by her dad? 🙂
@ Deko:
I am betting on him being her dad. She calls both of them by their first names, it is a rebellion thing made popular in the U.S. in the 1970’s.
@ gerardo: i like how you put it as ‘Stress’ instead of just plain old normal ‘stress’. and yes the capital letter makes a difference.
@ ekimmak:
Can’t really argue with monies.
@everyone please stop wining for more woo, you will get it when you get it.
Just goes to show you it’s not what you got to sell as much as who you’re selling to.
Why does Larisa call her parents by their first name?
I may just be weird, but I really want the flower painting with the little skeleton. It’s pretty with just the right amount of darkness.
@ reynard61:
Yes contrary to popular myths most rich people are born that way. Each generation ads to the coffers not by hard work but by cynical manipulation of people, money and events.
Now that is a business woman.
I seriously apologize in advance and I have no intention of being a troll. (I love your comic!)
but the fact that Woo hasn’t shown up in over two weeks and I’m getting kind of impatient.
Please bring back Woo… I love raccoons so pretty much he’s the only reason I read it.
Stop whinging, you will get him soon, probably in the next story ark.
I can see something similar happening when someone invented the very delicious Peanut Butter and Chocolate coated Cup. The two (styles) really bring out something in each other.
@ Summer:
Me, too! I was hoping it would be available as a wallpaper or something
@ Strife:
It is indeed a strange and frightening place, if one does not have a guide
Maybe a bit late (as i haven’t had chance to read in a while), but… heeheehee… these last few strips have made me giggle quite stupidly 😀
I realy like the painting of the floweres and a skelington. Kinda grim fandango’ish You should have a full size print of that one ^_^
I would like to see both of these paintings as a single united wallpaper (like both paintings next to each other) or two different wallpapers or a wallpaper which has another one of these paintings on the other side and the other on the other side which would be super!
@ Dazkey69:
Signs point to “no.”
EAT…THINE….FEET
I’ve got this great idea…
Remove the comments section and replace it with a fake comments section generated by teaching a chimp to type the word “awesome” repeatedly, interspaced with random letter mashings… and nobody would know the difference.
Ivan: 1
Larisa: 1+ (she’s definitely got a bit of a backlog of victories)
Jelena: All the Points.
Okay, no, it wasn’t just me. ^_^

When you bring home the bacon like that, you acquire authority. But the price is low for someone supporting a family in middle class comfort for two paintings. Should the amount be more like 50 kilobucks.
I do like the juxtaposition of cheery and grim. It’s like a They Might Be Giants song.
