The current story arc started with this strip: What Woo needs.
Raccoons apparently don’t make such a big deal out of “it”.
- Lily: That was pretty terrible, Woo, even for the first time.
- Woo: Thanks for putting even more pressure on me.
- Lily: C’mon, it’s not that hard!
- Woo: It is! I still have no idea how to operate this long stick-thing.
- Lily: With such a lousy technique, you wouldn’t score with a shorter one either.
- Woo: Damn, missed again! That hole is just too darn small!
- Lily: Let’s mate once again instead. You’re infinitely better at that.
- Woo: Woo!

The thing golf was made for was to create confusion of whether “golf club” means the thing you swing at the golf ball with or an association of the sportspeople.
But they are both things where you may, during the course of the game, try to get a white ball into a hole at one end of the green.

Really? Cheap sex jokes? I thought this webcomic was better than that. This kind of joke is way overused and only rarely done well. This strip was not done well.
That being said, Woo must have kids then…

Mm! I agree! It was quite odd. Before I got to the punch line, I was wondering to myself if maybe raccoons use sticks to fish grubs out of trees like I believe some animals do? Because I imagined something like that being the punchline, as opposed to… a pool table.

Just stopped by to downvote all the top-voted comments and upvote all the lowest-voted comments… mostly because people seem to be getting the up and down mixed up.
You see… the little green thumb is for good comments, and the little red thumb is for bad comments… but everyone seems to be green-thumbing the crap and red-thumbing the comments that actually make valid points or have something worthwhile to say.

I think if I ever go back to making webcomics again (without having to rely on an unreliable artist), I’ll probably not bother with a comments system at all… for mostly the opposite reasons to Novil.
