The current story arc started with this comic: The Poem I.
- Cloud: I can’t believe I wrote Sandra such a super kitschy love poem.
- Cloud: I must burn it before anybody reads it. Especially Sandra!
- Cloud: She’d think I was a complete moron!
- Cloud: My body is no longer following a single command of my brain.
- Yuna: Cloud is in L-O-V-E!

Next in Sandra and Woo: How to maintain reason while in love but this time with someone else other than Cloud.
Love has reasons which reason cannot understand 🙂
Lol my mind says no, but some other part of my brain says yes, also I would laugh if Yuna fell out of the tree, but I doubt she will (she would have to be pretty ninja to follow him all that way undetected, hide in the tree, and pop out upside down.
“Roses are red Violets are blue
Yunas a ninja
But so is Woo!”
Looks like this comment was even /more/ accurate than previously thought…
“All the passions make us commit faults; love makes us commit the most ridiculous ones”
-Francois de la Rouchefoucauld
@alexander
Never! C’mon, he’s gone and dropped off that letter without realizing it! He’ll never realize his sister is tailing him – even if she did so in plain sight. Probably…
Also:
“My mind’s telling me no~, but my body…my body is telling me yes!” (no idea where that came from X-D )
Oh well Cloud, it’s like your Brain said “go that way!” and your body said “go this way!”
At least you don’t hit puberty yet, because it will be:
Body : “go that way!”
Crotch : “go this way!”
Brain : “stay focused!”
No Cloud, your body is not listening to your brain, it’s following your heart. That’s a good thing. And Sandra will love you for this.
I’ve been in similar situations, but not involving love.
@ NDividedByZero:
0_0 scary no?
You want to do something but your body doesn’t obey your commands. Do you know what this is called?
A cutscene.
@ illeatyourself:

i was telling romantics stuff to my love on a nice hill, then suddenly:
brain back on and i let escape a “damn i’m too sentimental, it’s not me”
not to say she totally heard that and was pretty angry i stopped my romanticism -_-
As is usual, the realization comes AFTER the moment where you can do little but watch what will happen… 😀
I love the fourth panel, Cloud’s expression was just like a super villain accidentally pressing the self destruct button of his evil lair.
@ Azure Link: LOL LOL
on the upside, cloud can have his comeuppance with his little sister when the same thing happens to her…
Your mind says “This is stupid,” but your body says “I’m doing this!” 😉
@ Azure Link:
But you’ve got to love the enemy placement in some of them!
Also:
4th panel: Just realizes what he’s doing.
God, I wish I could just lose control like Cloud did there. XD
I wonder if that excuse would work for when his hand eventually “slips”?
At least it wasn’t one of those therapeutic “write down everything you don’t like about someone and then burn it” letters!
i’ve done this, only way worse cause i beat the living crap out of a guy while i was out of it, i found out the story later from the class, apparently i was the ultimate in badass, and protected a girl from being struck for turning an idiot down for a date, said idiot’s face was slammed into a brick wall. not that i wanted to date her or anything, but hitting girls for anything less than them starting a physical fight with you ((like sucker punching you)) is low.
also i want it to be known: in the poll ((favorite pony)) you forgot the greatest pony of them all DERPY HOOVES!! but she’s not mane 6 so blah. i picked rainbow dash cause she’s my favorite of the mane 6.
NINJA SISTER FTW!!!!!! XD
@ Azure Link:
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS I love you!
@ AckAckAck:
damn it, your right….
I wrote once a poem for the girl that I liked, I corrected It many times, I never give her the poem instead I had It put in a magazine, thats when I realized that the best thing I liked from this girl is that she helped me write better works, suddenly I asked myself “Are all the writers this selfinvolved?”.
I often write bad crapy poems to girls, only my friends know how that is a comitment for me.
First I told you to burn it, and then I changed my mind and told you you shouldn’t. Your brain listened to my first suggestion and your body did to my second… or maybe your body defied my first suggestion and your brain defied my second? But either way, interesting that you thought of burning as well. Let’s see if I’m using ESP or reverse ESP…
The next time we see you, we should be able to see the green shirt, not the red jacket.
In the
Wait, why did you put it in an envelope if you were going to drop it in her mailbox? You could have just put it in there… or given it to her personally… but I suppose it’s the body/brain malfunction.

Tis a very powerful neuron inhibitor this love drug. Very powerful indeed ^^
How are we on the colouring of the archives?
@ AckAckAck:
Crotch: *erection*
Last panel: Yes, Yuna, that IS the dictionary definition of “Love”. And if you can ever convince your body to do what your brain says it should, said love will indubitably crash and burn ^^
Or… Cloud put it in the wrong mailbox! Oh, wait. Unless Larissa put “North” on someone else’s mailbox (not too unlikely, given that she IS Larisa), that’s the right one… Oh well, Sandy’s dad could still find and read the letter ^^
see what happens when you get distracted with thinking
@ NDividedByZero:
don’t copy other peoples comments, it was from Raspberrytea
is Cloud Body send the poem to Sandra address whiteout his brain knowing?
Four downthumbs, really? I mean really? It’s practically BEGGING for a sex joke, this one. And it begging’s NOT a joke!
I’m not sure why but feel like throwing up.
Welp.
Cutscenes happen okay.
Best you can do is skip them, but sometimes they hide important exposition. See, if Cloud had skipped that cutscene, he’d have blinked and suddenly be standing at the North family mailbox, poem nowhere to be found okay.
But, because he watched the cutscene, he knows what he must do.
Which is to say, toss a match into the mailbox and destroy the evidence okay.
Your family is made up of ninjas.
You can’t escape.
Completely normal mom!
Or, in this case, completely normal sister. Apparently.
@ Engelfire:
dun dun dunnnn! erm sorry, do go on….
Shade: *from afar* MORON!
Who’s knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? Only the Shadows! XD @ Tales of Shadow:
I busted out in near maniacal laughter from the last two panels… XD
This is precisely why I advise people AGAINST bothering with love…
O’course all it was ever able to do to me was slow me down… dull my judgement a little… but that was still more than I was willing to tolerate.
In the end it turns out that it is one of the easiest emotions to defeat… mostly because it funnelled most of its points into offense and left nothing for defense.
Efficiency and self-control are so much more important.

Oh yeah. I imagine she’ll have a hell of a time getting a boy to risk dating Cloud’s little sister.
Also, that’s a pretty long fugue, for him to seal it up and walk down the street withour realising what he was doing. Most times your brain can only pull of a few seconds of involuntary action like that.
ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL
Think about this, how often to girls get love poems physically mailed to them these days? handwritten too. even my love letter was typed
Mí dioses, this actually happened to me! I’d already archive-binged Sadnra and Whoo (Sorry, couldn’t resist putting that in there, I loved your article about weird search strings. Could we get an update on that, or maybe an update every year?!), and this comic was running through my mind as it was happening, and I was like don’t type that, don’t put it into the messenger, don’t hit send, DON’T HIT SEND‼ Thankfully it all went well. Thank you so much for this funny comic, which brightened up the single scariest moment of my entire life.
Cool sidenote, one of the best ways of passing secret messages yet invented is to make sure the messenger and the target know how to find the message, then hide the message in something that everyone will see, but only the target will understand.
