The current story arc started with this comic: The Poem I.
- Cloud: What was I thinking? Why did I write Sandra such an embarrassing love poem? WHY DID I GIVE IT TO HER!?
- Cloud: Oh God, she’s certainly shown it to Theo and Benjamin already. They’ll make fun of me until the end of days.
- Sandra: Marry me! Marry me! Marry me! Marry me!
- Cloud: Then again, maybe she even found it passable.

Sandra has gained the ability to disreard the laws of physics and literally knock Cloud’s socks off. That must have been SOME letter.

…Is it just me or is Sandra stripping Cloud? He’s lost his shoes and socks, his jacket and his t-shirt seems to be next. XD

I came late to the party this time. Most people have covered the extreme cuteness factor of the recent strip.
So I will just say . . . I have a feeling Larissa would be a lot less quick to complain if Cloud loses his shirt than she was when Sandra did. I think she’d start writing her own Vogue articles “to be trusted”.

Yeah, I know I’ve been sensing C&H vibes in several strips lately.
The mythbusters tried to do this once, knocking their dummy Buster out of its socks. They finally managed with very loose socks, hitting Buster with a steel bar tied to a truck going at 65 mph. 🙂
Wonder how she did the jacket, though.

If Woo’s pounce is accurate, Cloud should be in his underwear only. That’s quite a pounce. (Hafta love cartoon physics.) I’ve never seen Snadra quite like this. She’s come full circle. Larissa would be proud.
As I recall, Mythbusters have done this one twice. First time it was busted. Second time they considered which socks slipped off best, shaved legs, and maybe a couple of other factors, and I think they managed to “knock his socks off”. I could be wrong, but even if I’m not, it took a *LOT* to do it.
In all seriousness, for many people, they are their own worst critic. This goes double for talented people.
I love how Cloud, in the blaring fact of Sandra’s like of the poem, is still thinking his choice over. 😀
guys guys guys remember it took TWO attacks from woo to get her undressed. give her one more at cloud and her father will be looking for the shotgun cause if she got his socks and shoes and half his shirt on her first attempt well I’m betting a second attempt will leave him wearing nothing at all.
Oh, Cloud, when will you ever learn that Sandra will love you no matter what ;P

It’s a Calvin and Hobbes homage of sorts. Many a reader has commented in the past of the likeness of Sandra and Woo’s style to that of Calvin and Hobbes in the past… and if I rememebr correctly our beloved author here says some of the inspiration for S&W’s style came from C&H.
It’s a Charlie Brown moment, with Sandra as the ball. 😉
