See it positively: A lot of people have to pay to get their ear shot through, and he gets it for free…
Silly wolf – nobody gives a damn in America!
Lawbreaking saves the day once again.
Or maybe someone was like, “Hey, how much you wanna bet I can shoot that squirrel outta that wolf’s mouth?”
lol,the animals are better informed abouts laws than hunters
A wolf that knows human laws? When did he find time to study that?
Well, that was unexpected. Do you think we’ll end up with the squirrel saving the wolf?
@ ekimmak:
Actually, I think that would be a pretty neat idea! It’d be fun to see how many predator friends Sid can end up with. 🙂
(Somebody doesn’t know what hunting bullets look like… 😉 🙂 🙂 (NOT that I’d actually expect her to; I just think it’s funny! :-))
I like how he pointed in the opposite direction to confuse the wolf, but I don’t like that a member of the pack has been wounded. May your ear heal and may you prosper, fellow lupine!
Silly Wolf-you haven’t read the story arc where a hunter goes hunting in a wolf infested area and discovers Woo.
I wonder if the hunter that took the shot was the same hunter that heard Woo talk?
@ Drone:
He probably just heard a human mention it. You know how we humans like to gab! But seriously, he (or another wolf) probably heard some people talking about it one time and were like “Aww yeah, we’re invincible now!” … I bet that’s why those other wolves were so uppity when they were about to kill Woo.
The hunter might be Cloud’s mom remember she is like a rebel…so breakin rules is sorta what she does.
Drone wrote:
Well, such a wolf would have studied law at North Carolina State, St Bonaventure or New Mexico…..
Positively thinking, at least now that wolf has a cut to match the one on his other ear.
wouldn’t that angle mean that the hunter would have to be in a tree? maybe i’m wrong, but that’s what it looks like to me
Woo considered taking a second shot, but decided the wolf had already learn’t his lesson.
@ AmbiValent:
Are you saying that’s actually Wolf Link? XD
@ Drone:
He probably found out when he encountered a pair of hunters, one of whom wanted to shoot him, causing the other to mention that doing so was illegal.
@ innaccurateanonymous:
Naw, the hunter was probably just close enough to cause an angle like that. After all, humans ARE taller, forcing them to fire down when shooting at such a creature.
How much ya wanna bet it was somebody of significance that shot it? And yes, if they tried to shoot the squirrel out of its mouth, they succeeded in a sense, but probably not how they wanted to. XD
I don’t think that wolf hunting is illegal anymore, the population has come back and there have been wolf hunting seasons for a couple years now.
Larry the cable guy did a show about squirrel hunting once. It was on the history channel, so it must be true… supposedly squirrel hunting is what lead to the invention of sniper riffles. I wonder why? tee he he he he.
@ Drone:
Woo can actually speak with humans. Explain that.
@ Jh5kRadio:
Magic, I don’t have to explain NOTHIN’!
Stu saved by the be.. bullet
he has a nick in one ear and a hole in the other, from now on he will be teased and called nicole. poor wolfie.
That hunter really needs better glasses.
Wolves have such bad luck in the world of Sandra and Woo 😐
@ Xane:
Arggh, it’s the curse, the curse!
>Backtracks and and runs howling with his tail down, into a pit. Looks up from the bottom of the pit and whinesGiant hand comes down and lifts out the wolf by the scruffPackage of ‘my-mistake-oreos’ appears in front of the wolf as Powree’s apology, Wolf picks them up and trots of with them in his mouth and his tail held at a jaunty angle<
Drone wrote:
Well when you spend alot of time out of the den, and on the move…..you have alot of time to pick it. he probably heard it from his pals at Yellow Stone.
Wolf in Bears Clothing (its the Last thing they’d suspect)
I bet it was woo…
Don’t ask, Sid, just run!
Sniper!
Get down, find some cover!
Did that hunter that was previously after Woo get out? Based on the lousy aim one would say yes.
yeah… unfortunately being illegal doesn’t mean people won’t do it
I love the fact that “eating sid” is a tag. 😀
@ innaccurateanonymous:
Might be on a hill?
@ Plaid Wolf:
Now that’s funny! (…and I live in Raleigh, NC :-))
I’m not sure if anybody noticed or not but that’s not a bullet that hit the wolfs’ ear.
Looks more like a sharp stone to me.
Rednecks; can’t live with ’em, can’t disrespect laws set down by the Department of Fish and Game without ’em.
Awww, I actually felt bad for the wolf. Poor guy. That must have hurt.
Poor poor Wolf 🙁 . but it was to be expected .Can’T you take some other animal to screw with?
like a puma,a bear, or something.always the poor wolves.
Hunting wolves are indeed illegal in the state. And your point is…?
Awwwwwwww, you poor wolf.

The law’s not going to save you if people are not going to obey it, Wolf…
What I find funny is that the wolf knew the law in the first place

Really? It looks like a regular spitzer to me. Not that it’s big enough to really get a clear look at, of course…
I guess this was… within earshot
