Have you already read the news entry about the Sandra and Woo fanart contest 2012 (with prize money)?
- Shadow: I’m back, Echo.
- Echo: Did you catch a fat rabbit?
- Shadow: No, unfortunately not.
- Echo: That means there’s squirrel on the menu today!
- Shadow: Uhm, I don’t think I’d feel comfortable eating my best friend…
- Echo: RRRAAWR
- Shadow: … e– especially be– be– cause I’ve found a rich food source on my way home! A real cornucopia! I… I’m going to get us something right away!
- Shadow: Please give me food! It’s a matter of life and death!
- Woo: ?

Yes, that’s what cornucopia means. A horn with food in it.
Hm, I wonder if Woo realizes it’s not your death you’re talking about… I suppose it hardly matters to you, though.
Hmf. I don’t see why I don’t get to eat the tasty squirrel. My mate’s so squeamish. I guess there is something reasonable, but why is he best friends with a stupid squirrel in the first place? It’s a good thing Shadow’s cute.
The minute Shadow resigned himself to looking for food in the city, there was no way this could not happen 😛
Now begs the question, how many ways (both in parallel and in chain-reaction) can this go wrong… and how much hilarity will ensue?
Why didn’t he do that in the first place?

Now that I think about it, why is Woo answering the door? Wouldn’t Sandra’s dad get weirded out if he saw Woo answering the door by himself? After all, he doesn’t know that Woo can talk.

I’d also suggest that Shadow would have used a fox call rather than the doorbell or knocker. So Woo would know that he was dealing with a fellow woodland creature rather than, say, a Jehovah’s Witness or telecoms salesghoul.
As for being a proud carnivore… as we can see, pride goeth before a fall – in this case to his vulpine knees before a semi-domesticated scavenger. Still, he tried. >:=\>
Now that’s a good plan!
