AGREE.
And you know what the worst price we pay is? By ruling the world, we are, by proxy, ruining it. 🙁
@ Landbark:
I totally agree with that. XD
Animals have to work harder then you think to find food/stay alive. You know what’s awesome? Bieng a pet (like Woo)

Those are not mutually exclusive.
On the plus side, it was the busy bodies that gave birth to the internet.
And Youtube, Woo.
Nobody seems too concerned about a raccoon strolling along the sidewalk — not even when he walks on two legs. (Not very smart, Woo. Remember, you’ve seen ET. You don’t want to be studied/vivisected.)
Shouldn’t he at least be drawn with a collar? Sandra’s name, address, and proof he’s had his shots.
Humanity think that we can handle nature. The truth is, we can’t. Earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, tornadoes and other disasters shows that human create a civilization on a very wobbly pillar.
But humanity are resilient, but damn we sacrifice a lot to survive.
NOPE…note ruling the World…
Some Still Thinking their castles does not stand Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand…
and some of us are Just a puppet on a lonely string……
ring the bells my friends
Humanity needs to be humbled… *crosses fingers in hope of 2012*
You know, I’d like to see a new story arc sometime soon if possible. As for this comic, so true.
Ain’t it the truth, Woo Work all day & no time for fun either 🙁
Oh, you mean there’s actually someone in charge?
Best song ever, in my opinion.
Also, relating to this comic:
Big Yellow Taxi
Waiting for the World to Change
Jut throwing those out there. Any more that anyone can think of?
i used to rule the world
seas would rise when i gave the word
now in the mornings i sleep alone
sweep the streets i used to own
Ehhhh…It’s not like NOT ruling the world ISN’T stressful. Running away from predators, spending all day working hard at obtaining enough food not to starve…I’ll take our current situation over the alternative, really.
why was i thinking of this song before I read this…
And the opinion of the world:

That we do, Woo. (Lol rhymes FTW!) But some of that price is something we really like. For example, Computers, games, movies, and all that require work and money, but are totally worth it. And seeing him and his mate eating red berries reminds me of Pocahontas (the movie, not the character). XD
I think the animals might actually rule the world. We’ve sacrificed a lot to get everything we have, and for many people it’s simply not worth it. Had we not decided to expand our land as much as possible, I think the average person might be much the better for it.
You know,Woo has a good point. We’ve sacrificed alot of things and we’ve pretty much worked our way up the food chain by sacrificing.Except the fact we’ve evolved from smelly primates to (Mostly) civilised humans.
Says the racoons who just spent the winter in a heated home being fed every day.
*raccoon (stupid spellcheck)
This strip (and all others) is the kind of comic I’d enjoy reading every single day, over and over again. I can totally see a book being published (if it’s not already done) juste like ‘For Better Or For Worse’ or other comics like that!
Cats rule the world. Humans control everything else, and cats control humans.
This is why I’d like to be a cat in my next life… and the eight lives following that one…
Well they are just jelous of our neet calculus skills (some strip in the beginning has Sanra stating that)
I just remebered… mostly thanks to the fact that I somehow managed to score an E in written part of exam from generalized functions, Laplace and Fourier transformations and generalized diferential equasions…
Now just oral part of exam on 24th july.
[…] Sandra And Woo […]
@ Neutrino:
I agree, especially since he can talk, but interestingly he’s more normal than Larisa.
I think since Woo can talk he can become the “Ambassador of the animals” and tell the world how to improve and what animals are actually thinking… (If Martha Speaks can pull it off so can he)
Scientists can’t dissect him because since he can talk he’s too valuable to die.
@ illeatyourself:
Woo can use computers, TV and videogames if he wants. I mean he’s smarter than Sandra (Seeing from last week)
Makes Woo appreciate his status all the better.
@ Deko:
is that a “viva la vida” refference?
So what your saying, Alex, is that we humans are the real pets…
@ alexander b:
At least we don’t have to starve through winter
Didn’t we have this strip not long ago? Or at least one with the exact same anti-human message? I don’t know about everyone else, but I for one am somewhat tired of that concept.
