Nothing wrong with a new arc, but I admit I would have like to have seen how Sandra and Cloud resolved their shared embaressment, or at least found a way to live in harmony with their naughty thoughts.
Unrelated note: has anyone found any Sandra and Woo fanfiction out there? I’ve checked a few of the major sites (like Fanfiction.net) but I can’t seem to find any. Anyone have a suggestion?

I’m considering it, but I wanted to see what was out there first to make sure my idea was orginal enough to even bother putting pen to paper ( so to speak).
I’ve done a lot of fanfic at FF.N, but S+W would be a new one for me to tackle as I’ve never done one based on a webcomic before.
I shouldn’t be starting anything new considering how many stores I’ve still got unfinished, but when you write you go where your muses take you.
Come on Sandra, grab a pickax and take some initiative. I know of a certain 6 year old boy and his tiger pal who would jump at the chance to excavate those dinosaur bones and sell them to a museum for a billion dollars.
Well that’s interesting! I like this one! I doubt it’s the beginning of a new story arc, but if it is, then it will probably be a big one! To bad it likely won’t have much adventuring involved if it continues the way I think it will. I want to see the foursome go on another adventure into a “dungeon”! It would bring back the excitement from earlier comics while providing for some great romance opportunities at the same time! 😀

So the boner arc ended already, with Larissa getting the last laugh as usual.
As much as I enjoy the story arcs there’s nothing wrong with a bit of “gag a day” now and then. Just relax and enjoy the show. I’m pretty sure that we’ll see more shipping soon enough.
I really like this one, it was a very creative idea!
People keep saying they’re reminded of Totoro. Personally I’m getting more of Tremors vibe.

I’m getting a bit of both (and hey, why not Dune as well whilst we’re at it?), but it’s the “lonely bus stop in the forest with a ~10 year old girl and her diminutive companion” arrangement that’s the recognisable cliche here 😉
A Totoro skeleton might have beaten the dinosaur, mind.
And we’re ALL spelling it wrong unless we use a couple of squares and a branching twig, which I don’t even have on my keyboard. Let’s see if I can unicode ’em up out of somewhere…

My first thought was: “It’s completely ridiculous for there to be Jurassic or Cretaceous fossils so close to the surface unless there had been some very severe geological action in the area recently (like, past thousand years or so), and some pretty significant wear from short-term erosion to boot.
My second thought: “Oh, hey, there’s a joke”

Everyone is asking why it is not in color, and, while I may not ACTUALLY know anything, I am going to give them an answer anyway.
I think that this is not a recently made comic. Lisa Moore is not listed on the bottom of the strip, and it is not at all a part of the storyline that we just had.
The reason for using an old strip to buy time would be to have more time to make the next strip. My guess it will be double size, and/or reveal something important about the characters that will change the comic forever or something. Don’t forget, the next comic is comic #400.
It could also simply be because they only had one more strip in the current arc and wanted to end the arc on strip 400.
Regardless, I don’t think this means we have seen the end of the storyline, or that the comics will no longer be in color, but instead simply more time was needed for comic #400.

The dinosaur skeleton is carnivorous (see the sharp teeth) and it is looking up towards Sandra with its mouth open like it wants to eat her. Sandra feels the scary aura of the skeleton’s threat but cannot see what the danger is because it’s buried underground.

IMO, a B&W gag strip’s a pleasant break between color story arcs plus it shows Powree’s line art more vividly. 😉
