[0419] The Test VIII
└ posted on Thursday, 11 October 2012, by Novil
I have uploaded the sketches for all Sandra and Woo strips up to the current one to the exclusive page for donators.

- Sandra: I got an F on the test. Daddy was not amused.
- Woo: I hope you’ve learned something from all of this.
- Sandra: Sure I have: Always be prepared!
- Woo: That sounds like a reasonable attitude for life.
- Sandra: Yeah, I’ve already collected a list of 20 foolproof excuses for ditching school!
- Woo: Human children never learn what their parents and teachers want them to learn.
First learn to control your immune system, then you can control your sick days!
@ Petah-Petah:
Control your immune system? AWESOME!
Could I have a copy of this list?

the more rules imposed the more loop holes people find, even if its harder to find the loop holes than follow the rules.
Does anyone else think of Calvin and Hobbes when they see this strip?
@ Lauren:
It’s fairly obvious that many of the strips were inspired by that comic, yes.
Just makes it even more awesome.
@ Lauren:
there is a joke used in one of the early strips about this…check the ones starting from 5 to 12…I think is one of them…….
The sad thing? This lesson probably WILL end up being useful later in life.
Her plans may be foolproof, but her dad’s no fool.
The problem with foolproof is that people continually underestimate the inventiveness of fools.
Sandy I hate to bring it to you… your dad was long time ago going to school too…
@ ekimmak:
When there is something foolproof it is time to find a better fool. My teacher always said that, he had found out that in his years of teaching there is no foolproof plan.
Sandra looks like a md genius in the third panel – go Sandra go! Take over the world! And then Woo looks kind of shocked in the last one.
So Ture
@ Lauren:
Yup, it’s right here:

I WAS WRONG!? O_O And boy, Sandra must be reaching REAL teenager-hood, since she’s starting to become rebellious apparently. Just like I did when I reached about 15 years old. XD
Foolproof title determined by Which fool? Cause a college fool Vs. a grade school fool leaves a lot of people fooled. Meme fool = Good for All though.
and teachers wonder why kids never behave better after punishment. they just think of excuses so they don’t get a punishment the next time.
Wait a second, Woo. Are you telling us that racoons do?
What does the quote say/mean (and if it is a cipher, how do I decipher it)?
Ehrm… the ads in the banner are geting out of hand. Seeing a condom ad over Sandra and Woo is downright disturbing…
Anyway, good to see Sandy’s feeling better and learned from her experience 🙂 be prepared 🙂
“How could you get an F on the test?!”
“Because I have to be able to use all 26 letters of the alphabet! I can’t write a short essay on the ‘Rench Revolution!'”
Calvin: “I’ve got a dart gun, five comic books(…) and a rock”
“The umbrela doubles as a parchute”
Sadly, everytime this webcomic reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes, I think back to the one where they found the racoon ;( *sniff*
Tell me about it. XD
We British folk didn’t have a word for blending two words together until we borrowed (i.e. stole) the Grench term “portmanteau”.
Personally, I think that honour should have been given to the Germans… the true masters of fusing as many words as humanly possible together to form enormous linguistic monstrosities that can inspire dread in the weak of heart irrespective of the actual subject-matter.
Well, either that or the Japanese, who can shorten anything down to fewer than 3 syllables and somehow still communicate with it.
Just imagine what they could achieve if their powers were combined… without american nuclear interference.
.
Sorry… that joke was in very poor taste, but I couldn’t help it. >=D

Well, considering that most of what raccoon kids learn is how not to get eaten, they have a really good incentive to pay attention.
