Never has a single large sweat drop been more appropriate than in this comic.
From Monday, 3 December, to Sunday, 9 December, the English website for Sandra and Woo had slightly over 1,000,000 page views! This is mainly because a large number of our new visitors read the entire archive instead of leaving the website again immediately.
- Yuna: Have you proposed to Sandra yet?
- Cloud: Yuna!
- Sandra: I read that you can get married at 16 in our state.
- Cloud: Sandra!
- Ye Thuza: You better marry this respectable girl or I’m gonna whoop your butt!
- Cloud: Mom…?!
- David: Listen to your mother, Cloud! She knows what’s best for you.

Yay for new readers like us!
I know how cloud feels
@ That Guy Who Commented:
“They are the Borg, Cloud. Resistance is Futile.”
“No, they are Cybermen. Resistance is even more futile.”
In a similar vein, I’ve often wondered about an argument between the Vogons and Borg:
“Resistance is Futile!”
“No, Resistance is USELESS!”
FUTILE!
USELESS!
(ad infinitum)
The poor guy. XD The feeling of metaphorical guns pointed at you. Believe it or not,I know the feeling. Only in Cloud’s case,I sincerely doubt it’ll be just metaphorical. XD @ Malchus:
Why is it that people always put so much pressure on the guys?
Pressure! Pushing down on me, pushing down on you.
Good lord… Cloud’s just catching it today, huh?

The logical reason for such laws, violation of which constitutes statutory rape, is to protect inexperienced and often naive children barely past puberty from manipulative adults, and from themselves.

I’ll admit that the meaning of certain words have been deliberately changed and/or have had certain connotations attached to them that alters their meanings in popular jargon. The word molest used to mean assault, not necessarily sexual, whereas now it immediately brings to mind rape. While pedophilia is used too liberally, in the strictest sense it refers to sexual attraction to pre-pubescent children while pederasty refers to sexual attraction to pubescent children.
You may argue it means that you like children in a platonic way, but consider it usage among sexual disorders called paraphilias, which include all abnormal sexual attractions and fetishes. Whereas calling yourself a cinemaphile (movie enthusiast) or a bibliophile (book lover) has no sexual connotations. I guess we can chalk it up to the imprecision of the English language in regards to love (or lust) in all its different kinds, whereas Greek tends to be way more specific (agape, filios, eros).
We definitely need a word to describe people who like kids in a strictly platonic way, but not the p word that you suggested.
People sure enjoy teasing Cloud.
Hes going to get crushed if you put any more pressure on him.

Don’t do it Cloud. Stay common-law.
Marriage is just government / religious registration.

Hey, at least the Cybermen are bulletproof. That’s more than can be said for the Borg.

Mmmmm. Happy thoughts. (Assuming the girl is my age like Sandy is for Cloud, obviously)
No offence meant, but you have some serious issues if you find the idea of a cute girl you really like crawling on top of you that horrible…
I’m also among those who have been reading the entire archive. I started randomly reading comics linked on TVTropes, but that got me addicted and since then, I’ve been reading from the beginning, hoping (and also dreading) to catch up.
well if his dad says so then you better do it.
Father i trusted you, how could you – whem got not even a single ally in the coming war
@ Avian Moaquito:
We’re supposed to learn in the streets where the info is generally more accurate than that given by caregivers. My aunt gave me a book which told me that babies were brought by storks, as per, for example the movie “Dumbo”. She said “It must be true, because it’s in a book.”
What I learned from my friends was more accurate, but incomplete. Without understanding sexual attraction nothing in human society makes sense.
@ Cddmanful:
Yup.
