Character occurrence frequency 2008 to 2012
Here is a diagram that shows how often the main and supporting characters appeared in the strips of each year. Note that there were only 20 strips in 2008. Cloud will appear more often again in 2013.

More Woo!
More Cloud! He’s below Woo and Larisa – he should be at least somewhere near there, no?
Interesting to see that Woo appeared more often than Sandra in 2008 and 2011.
Woo should always be higher than all the other charcters.
Always.
If the webcomic was named after the most occurring characters, it would probably look something like this:
2008: Woo and Sandra
2009: Sandra and Woo
2010: Sandra and Cloud (and Woo)
2011: Woo and Sandra (and Larisa)
2012: Sandra and Woorisa
Ahh, graphs are great. 😀
Interesting that Woo and Larisa tied in 2012, and that Ye Thuza’s year was clearly 2010.
Actually, I find this whole graph rather interesting…for instance, that neither title character appeared 50% of the time in 2010 or 2011. It seems 2010 had the highest intermix of the different main characters, with none below 5% and the majority above 20%, and 2011 had a lot of intermix between Cloud, Larisa, and Woo appearances (reasonably close distribution).
Man, I’m a geek…I’m getting way too much entertainment value out of the graph. Makes me wonder about a few other webcomics.
For some reason I am more interested in how often will Landon appear (like with Cloud it is almost obvious that he will appear quite a few times)
I like it when there are more side couples…
Larisa is best pony, anyone else is superfluous
More Cloud, definitely need more cloud
Sandra and Woo!
I like how Woo and Larisa’s lines form a lightening bolt.
More Shadow! He’s clearly at the bottom of 2012. Let him in on some action for once!
Well, i guess that would explain why i like certain parts (genrations?) of the comic more than others. However it does not change the fact that this is an awesome comic. Thanks you for the weekly dose of humor from your comic!
@ IndigoRei:
Looking at it, to me it looks a bit more like a tornado then a lightning bolt but to be honest having started looking at it from right to left for some reason, i did see it as a lightning bolt first however to each there own
Following the “patterns” of the graphs, it looks as though Cloud will disappear before June; Sandra’s and Shadow’s graphs will be sinusoidal; Ye Thuza will have a spike in popularity every three years; Richard and Sid will parabolically (not exponentially, as they dipped down first) rise in appearance to become the main characters; and Woo’s and Larisa’s, will either disappear after colliding, similarly to what happens when matter meets antimatter, or approach each other exponentially and never meet (sure, it looks as though Larisa and Woo are dead even, but maybe Woo’s ahead by a tenth of a percentage point).
