Update day is a very dangerous day… at least when you post two comics that nobody’s able to understand.
Our reader Robin informed me that his friend Ravyn, a “big fan” of Sandra and Woo, is in financial troubles after a serious injury because of the god-awful American health-care system. She’s involved in various charities, so maybe you want to help.
- Sandra: Your video could use some more action.
- Larisa: I’ll bet you anything that it’ll get at least 102,786 views and 89 comments.

Sandra’s shirt reminds me of Summer Wars.
@ Mokona:
It IS a Summer Wars shirt! That’s awesome 😀
And then, the bottle blow up
I AM THE CHEESE. I AM THE BEST CHARACTER ON THE SHOW.
Oooooh, Larisa is channeling her inner Warhol. I should have guessed.
Oh god, one of the tags is “Rocko’s Modern Life”.
WHY DIDN’T I SEE THIS COMING?!
…
[slowly claps]
Larisa was dead wrong, however, as it never got 102,786 views and 89 comments.
It got 1,034,786 views and 350 comments.
Now I get it. One of the gags in that episode consisted of an entire episode of “Wacky Deli” consisting of only a still shot of a jar of mayonnaise.
Sorry to say, but these recent strips just didn’t do it for me.
Now if it was a bottle of ketchup, or vat of fry sauce, another story entirely:-).
@ Neospector:
Nope. She’s not wrong. She said “at least”. That descriptor means that it can be that, or any number above it.
Larisa has a point….
Oh well and in total we got 11 bottles…
Oh wait 12 if you consider the small one in the right frame…
I personally wouldn’t watch this video, even if one of my favorite vlogger would review this video I wouldn’t click the link to actually watch (I rarely do anyway)
Nice.
i was very disappoimted that sandra and woo didn’t make it onto the 20 nest webcomics list i found on buzzfeed. i tried to post a comment there about how you beat most of those comics in the competition, but for some reason it wouldn’t let me post.
Why so specific?
I’m serious, why?

The joke was already on the edge on the cliff of unfunny and you just had to give it that little push, didn’t you?
Yay! I called it! Well, close. I didn’t know exactly what it was about, but I called it on having something to do with Larissa.
@ Antiyonder:
Are you from Utah? [Fry sauce reference….]
@ Ollie:
that would turn the “Rocko’s Modern Life” reference into a “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” reference, now wouldn’t it?
@ Cddmanful:
I was from Utah, yes.
Though my joke was me acting as if I was genuinely upset about the recents strips. I figured the nature of my complaint would make it clear I was kidding around.
@ Neospector:
Are you referring to your own ‘joke’, or the comic’s?
Because your comment seemed to display a lack of understanding of the phrase ‘at least’, hence Skret’s explanation.
Yeah Sandra, there’s these new things called “Performance Art” and “Modern Art”. Larisa simply combined the two, as per her usual style. Geez Sandra, why you gotta be so ignorant of the ways of an artist? XD
At first I was like “Ha! nice puchline!”
Then someone mentioned Rocko’s Modern Life tag, my jaw was dropped.
You win!
Yay! Соевый соус!
From the start, the bottles reminded me of Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans, but set in black & white and with a different brand. Now this reminds me of Andy Warhol’s long-ass art-house films like Sleep and Empire, where he points a camera at something or someone for hours on end and calls it “art.”
Now I see why you updated the comic three times this week. Good call, I think this would’ve been too long of a joke for one and a half week of updates.
* facepalms * D’oh!
seriously…?
Ok I kinda expected more after this dreadfull waiting of something finally happening after a week of this Heinz sauce…
This was… THE HEINZ ARC! xD
Anyway, the suspense is awesome
@ Neospector:
False. She said AT LEAST. The only way she would be wrong is if she would get less.
@ Neospector:
That one went right over the top of my head. Where’s the connection?
@ Hotel Papa:
Go on youtube and look up the episode “Wacky Deli” on Rocko’s Modern Life. Rocko, Heffer, and Filbert are asked to help make a cartoon, and things go terribly, but people love it anyways. The title’s of the last three comics, and the comics themselves are references to a couple gags in that episode.
Huzzah for calling the title bit yesterday 😀
…HOW THE HECK DID I NOT SEE THIS COMING!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Perhaps the bottle will burst into flame?
@ Ollie:
No, silly. It caught fire.
@ Cddmanful:
I’m going to click like on this comment…only because of your avatar picture.
I am better than both the bologna and the salami combined!
So, is that what Larisa will call her art piece?
@ Skret:
So, in-universe, she is replacing with her garbage (let’s face it) and getting the views while people are hoping for the thing they like to come back to the website? I contributed a view for each day I expected a Sandra and Woo webcomic. But it’s because I generally like the webcomics, not because I want to look at a bottle of ketchup. If you want to treat it as on its own, you should only count the views/comments in excess of the webcomic’s normal attention.
So how long will it be before this strip gets defictionalised (i.e. someone makes Larissa’s video for real)? 🙂
Why the soy sauce, i wonder?
Ooh~ Whacky Deli reference.
You know I was actually thinking of that when it was just the sauce bottle.
We need more Whacky Deli references.
Does that mean that we have a crossover with It’s Walky inbound?
😉
I’ll see your bottes and raise you packets!

You should check out on YouTube Magibon’s infamous staring videos O_o@ Trimutius:
Yes, I’m sure it’ll recieve the attention you’re expecting.
Whether it’ll be positive attention is another matter entirely.
SPUNKY
WEEEEHH, That was a HOOT.
@ Mokona:
It IS from Summer Wars! its the symbol of the jinnouchi family! cool!
i have begun to visit this site a couple of times now and i have to say that i discover it quite great really. maintain the nice work up! =)
