- Woo: Lily?
|
is lily just napping there, or is it something more do do with babies? (mini woo?!) or was woo just wrong.
@ noelwiz:
hmmmm well he DOES have other friends he cares about that also live in the forest. so it could be them
Epic Woo pose in panel 1!
It’s cancer.
So much for Woo’s super senses.
@ Petah-Petah:
Not necessarily, Lily’s not in her penthouse-treehouse.
Is… Is that a giant clam she’s sleeping in…
@ Red:
No, I’m pretty sure she’s lying on a rock that ‘s under a large leaf, to shield her from the rain. It does kinda look that way now that you mention it though…
well, she looks kinda out of it – maybe she´s got a fever? or maybe something is yet to happen to her…anyway, i think its sweet that woo was so hellbent to get to her, in that kind of weather!

Pretty sure that’s a small cliff above her, rather than a leaf.
Did she just wake up?
We need the generic wa wa waaa music, stat!
@ noelwiz:
I was thinking along the lines of this myself. We’ll all find out next update, I’m sure.
Either babies are on the way, or Woo is in for a world of hurt having woken his lady when she was having a nice sleep…..
raccoons are nocturnal…
Lily is not in immediate danger, but there’s still room for her to be in trouble. If Woo was wrong though, he does have things to worry about. Sandra offering twelve free chores and her dad having to drive in the middle of the night are not things people like to do for no reason at all.
Here is my guess the tree she lived in got hit by lighting and went BOOM and she got new shelter on the clam/rock/leaf

I want to make a crack about a mini Woo being a “Wee Woo”, but I feel it would be a brutal murder to my reputation in the whole of society.
I just realize something. In the west the trope of “It was dark and stormy night” usually used for horror stories. But in Japanese anime, when it involve a couple young lovers in an empty house (well, in this case it’s under a big rock) it usually ended up in some romantic hanky panky (heh).
Soooooo……
What trope this storyline will use hmmmmmmm?
Also I see that a lot of people want to see “Little Woos and Lilys” soon. Can’t really blame them.
@ Neospector:
No need to worry, since Wii U was announced people already crack that joke over and over again.

@ Red:
A rock under a big leaf.
I know he talks, buy he’s awfully bipedal for a raccoon.
@ Matthew G.:
This is true; however, the artist could not get nearly as much body language out of him if he walked on all fours; the first panel is a very good case in point. More accurately, he could get animal body language out of an all-fours Woo, but none (or precious few) of us could understand it!
Oh… she’s fine and was napping. So… nothing wrong then. Next time, ignore the gut feeling. It’s usually wrong.
So many people replying to each other. IT’S A MIRACLE!!
I d@ Garrett Williams:
Looking at panels 3 and 4, I’d say that’s the case here. And that raises one possible danger Lilly might still be in.
Look at the tree above the rock, tilted to the side, with the roots half outside the ground. In such a heavy rain, it’s not uncommon for a tree in that position to topple over.
Lilly was sleeping. If Woo hadn’t arrived to wake her, and that tree lurched, Lilly would have been in danger of being crushed between the two rocks, one above her and the one she was sleeping on.
So maybe Woo saved her just buy coming to her and waking her up…
Far fetched, I know 🙂
See? Nothing happened.
