Okay, so at least Woo is conscious and responsive…
@ Draccoon:
But it doesn’t look like he’ll be able to move on his own. Lily is going to have to do something in order to get him to safety- either carry him or get help.
He took a bullet for her, I’m guessing. Well, lightning bolt. Same difference.
Well, I guess that Lily is going to have to overcome her fear of people……poor Woo!
Please don’t let it be amnesia, please don’t let it be amnesia…
Good news: Lily is conscious, just a little bit dizzy.
Bad news: I worried about panel two. Regarding her left forearm. Looks like it injured a little bit.
Good news: Woo is conscious.
Bad news: He can’t get up. Seems like the
gunshotrockshot wound is pretty serious. Now we wait for Thursday!
Poor Lily.
She’s going to have to find a new home after this.
Who will make waffles the way Lily likes them now?
Head trauma is serious buisiness. To a raccoon, the walnut or whatever it was that hit him is probably the equivalent of being hit by a brick. Especially considering the speed it was moving.
I hope Woo is okay.
I knew she would probably have to carry him to sandra! but I thought for sure he’d be out cold.
What a horrible night to have a curse.
Woo probably lost his ability to speak to Sandra.
For all the negative things that have been suggested as a result, I suggest the following be the result: Woo now has ninja skills. Seriously, he now gives Cloud (and family) a run for their money.
Just because. After all, sometimes it isn’t all bad.
@ Robert:
Then again, his attacks will still be with the force of a raccoon… so the effectiveness may be questionable?

@Draccoon – “alert & responsive,” sure. But how A&O is he? And, even that’s no sure indicator (when i got clobbered, I was A&R after three minutes – took two to reboot – and I was A&Ox3, but I have NO memory of what happened that Tuesday – or from the Saturday before to a fortnight later!)
CNS trauma is tricky business…
Loving the perspective of the rain in #4.
R.I.P. Woo
2008 – 2013
Woah. Must’ve been some “TOK” in that last strip.
@ DJMouthwash:
Nope. He took a rock to the head, and it had nothing to do with him intervening. Neither one was expecting it, and the rock just happened to hit him instead of her.
Lily looks very different in the second panel somehow. As for the last panel, I love the arin perspective, and also… OH THANK GOSH HE’S CONSCIOUS!! *Yells “Woo!” in excitement* XD

That should have said Rain. It’s funny, because I was just watching a game grumps remix someone made, and one of the grumps is named Arin. XD
@ GoogerGeiger:
Well that would just ruin the entire comic, wouldn’t it
I hope nothing is broken, but it looks like he took a pretty bad bump. She needs to run and get help now!
Tune in next week for the start of the new version of the comic, “Sandra!”
Woo will not be starring due to, erm, complications.
He’s fine. He’s just a little dead is all.
He’s only mostly dead. ‘ell be right as rain in the mornin’.
I once impacted a fallen tree face-first after going over the handle-bars of a mountain-bike. I only blacked out for less than half a minute, but my coordination was shot for the rest of the day and I was still shaky the day after. Woo’s probably even more rattled since I’d imagine a small fast-moving object would impart a more focused ‘knock’. Maybe he’ll develop an uncontrollable twitch or facial tic? That, and the scar, might help in scaring off unwanted males during mating season, perhaps?
And now she’s going to have to get over her fear of humans and go get sandra to help.
@ DJMouthwash:
You’re right! They do have the same difference. One’s spelled differently and so is the other. 😀
Oh I see… this is like, the fires of pompeii. It’s a fixed point in time.
