- Larisa: What happened?
- Zoey: Why should I tell you of all people?! All you ever do is bully me!
- Larisa: What?! I don’t bully you!
- Zoey: You made me eat my French homework!
- Larisa: Yes, after you called Sandra a “lice-ridden dweeb” behind her back!
- Larisa and Zoey: …
- Zoey: Maybe we should stop doing horrible things to each other.
- Larisa: At least on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Hmmm, interesting. What I take from this is, surprisingly enough, that Zoey viewed Larisa as the bully, and made accusations against her. We’ve been so used to seeing her as the aggressor, not to a major extent but the other situations under which she popped up she wasn’t painted in a positive light… I’m just fascinated by the perspective is all, she saw Larisa as the bully and we saw her as the bully.
Glad they could come to a reasonable compromise though.

Ha! “At LEAST on Mondays and Wednesdays.”
yeah right…
By the way, doesn’t this remind you of the Buffy episode where Xander’s trying to console the high school quarterback bully because it turns out the bully’s gay?
Friends? In some strangely odd way, I think they could. As in, they’ll never admit it, but neither will they trip the other up.
Although I don’t think they’re aging in real time, it seems pretty clear from the art that the characters are older than they were at the start of the strip. (And Cloud was 12 in mid-2012, so they’re probably still 12, or possibly 13.) Regardless, I think we may have different working definitions of “shipping.”
Larisa’s the kinda girl to set the world ablaze
but give certain people a map to the safest bunker.
Thinks don’t work like that IRL. Are they truly teenagers?
Larisa is a good friend ^_^
@ Raen:
Sorry, objectively the there’s nothing creepy about a person imagining two young girls as girlfriends – just doing what a normal young ____friend and ____friend do.
But the thought of Larisa and Zoey realizing that they’ve had the wrong idea about each other, and that their mutual belligerence is all repressed sexual tension, and then it starts to get a bit squicky.
… that’s what I meant.
– If I understand “shipping” to mean putting forward the idea that two characters could be or should be a couple.
Does no one even wonder about the burning magazine that may still be in Larisa’s hand?!
Or even on the ground nearby a bush?!
Oh god fire is everywhere!
Run for your lives!
@ Leon:persons hailing from Lesbos, for one.
and, as i said on an earlier strip, “Architect of Sleep”, anyone?
If both parties are giving as good as they get, it’s not bullying, it’s fighting. As for who started it, I’m guessing Zoey, since she’s taken shots at Sandra too.
Also, I don’t think I noticed it at the time, but now I can’t help but wonder how Larisa made Zoey eat her homework; I wouldn’t expect Larisa to be strong enough to literally force-feed it to her.
I’ve got a feeling, a feeling , a feeling, that these two will become a couple.
@ Leon:
I’d say it’s a toss up between racoons and cats becoming the next intelligent species. Who knows they might even both happen around the same time.
i could see a relationship forming between the two. kind of like what happened in Penny and Aggie
What’s up to every one, since I am really keen of reading this website’s post to be updated regularly.
