There was an obvious joke about “using protection” here. But that would have been just *too* raunchy.
- Sandra: Cloud, I know it’s time for us to take the next step, but I’m still a little scared.
- Cloud: There’s no reason to be afraid, Sandy. Just relax and go as fast or slow as you want.

Ziplining is quite fun, and at legitimate locations very safe. If you ever get the opportunity, I encourage you to go. 🙂

Notes from a German native-speaker on the vocabulary:
»Kletterwand« (lit. climbing wall) actually describes an artificial indoor (rarely outdoor) wall with grips for climbing. Outdoor walls with natural solid rock are called »Klettergarten« (lit. climbing garden or climbing park, also known as crag) in German. But Cloud and Sarah are acutally in a »(Hoch-)Seilgarten« (lit. ropes course, »Hoch« means up here.).
And you thought it was going to be dirty!

I almost get the feeling they’re being over dramatic because the guy behind them is being impatient and rude. He could have just been polite and asked if he could step in front of them, but he probably made a rude comment about their age and now they’re teasing him by taking their time.
Oh! I went to one of these in Norway, it’s great fun! Especially the ziplines! 🙂

Alright that does it, if you don’t have constructive criticism don’t post your random complaints about the fact they are young. Youths know a lot more about sex than you give them credit for no mater how sheltered you try to keep them. And for the love of whatever deity you follow it is not a “German” thing or a “European” thing. Just because they are more willing to talk about it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist everywhere else. I assume most of the people making those comments are american. Well I was born and raised in the states and I had sex for the first time at 9 with a girl that was 10 and we continued to for about 4 years. Boredom and curiosity lead to the inevitable outcome. It was not a bad thing, we didn’t have a kid, we didn’t get any STDs, and we went on to live normal lives considering this happened 20 years ago and we are both successful. If you don’t like the innuendos and the like then go away. Oliver, you should post something just to see if these ignorant people will follow through with their threat that they will stop watching. It would be nice if they didn’t comment anymore.
I think the sex issue is overblown. When I was 12 or 13, it was a subtext to all in-age social interactions. By the time I turned 14, I knew of at least a few classmates who had done something beyond kissing — I won’t believe exactly what because everyone had reasons to lie about the details.
It’s not like these themes are new here. Their relationship has matured over the years and there’s been explicit sexual tension between them. My first thought when I saw this is that it’s a fantasy sequence one of them or the other is thinking before the snap back to reality. But they could have been flirting with each other too. And of course there’s the obvious reader tease.
As far as ages go, in 309 they began 7th grade, which in the US means they’re about 12 when they enter the grade and about 13 when they leave the grade. In 335, it’s clearly fall. In 398, it’s clearly spring or summer. Up to that arc, it seemed like time was moving, they were growing, Woo was growing, and this seemed destined to become a teenage comic. They were certainly acting like younger teenagers at that point. But then it seemed like Novil froze ages at 12, see 425.

Guys, chill. personally I think that the two of them don’t even know that what they are saying could be taken in a sexual way. Sandra is scared to ‘take the next step’ on the suspended course (We call it Go Ape! In the UK) and the strip is just a joke at the reader. It like ‘haha we had you going there for a moment didn’t we?’ kind of thing 😀

Sorry about German’s Moral. I am not saying that they are depraved people. I just got the idea from TV trope and the reaction on depiction of child nudity that it is not as stigmatized as other countries.

So far as I’m aware, the very beginning of that sort of behaviour is around the 14 to 15 mark. These two, last I checked, were around the 12 to 13 mark… and I have no idea if they’re aging in real-time or not. They certainly don’t LOOK old enough.
… In any case, I can only judge based on personal experience, data collected… and my understanding of it in general. I personally didn’t do anything of the sort until I was 19.
God, so many people whining about them being “too young”. You know what? I wouldn’t care if they really were already banging. If they’re careful, what difference does it make? Especially since from what we’ve seen of their relationship to date, “the next step” would be second or third base (I’m not too familiar with the american euphimisms, but I don’t think those carry the risk of pregnancy). My first reaction to this wasn’t disbelief that they might have started being sexually active together, but simply disbelief that it would be on camera. That would have been somewhat shocking. As it is, I’m just reminded of the old saying, “If you can’t be good, be careful”.
