- Sandra: Daddy’s boss and his wife are coming for dinner, so I want to see you on your best behavior this evening. Understood?
- Woo: Understood.
- Woo: My excellent behavior this evening shall become a shining example for all of raccoonity!
- Sandra: Woo!!
- Woo: What!?

“I sure hope nothing ruins this fancy dinner party..”
“GIGGITYGIGGITYGIGGITYGIGGITYGIGGITYGIGGITY”
Hahahahahaah, Woo just leveled up his Boss state.
I am half expecting the next strip to show that he is actually only scratching her back with his left hand and this was just a joke from the author

Lighten up people, really.
Woo is an animal. Animals have sex… everywhere. If you have children and they have been outside for as much as a child should, they have seen animals having sex. It might have been a raccoon, a squirrel, a bee, or some sea animal but they have seen it. They probably don’t get it, and even if they did they would just get a good giggle out of it and move on.
The comic is as tastefully done as always, and accurately depicts a clash of two very different cultures. Anthropomorphism works both ways, making animals seem human and thus we can relate to them more. On the flip side, when you see behavior like this, and expressions like Lily’s we react much as we would as if this was depicting two humans.
Woo: “ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?” nom nom nom
It’s so good to see that this comic is keeping it’s “kid friendly” morals…can’t wait to see Larisa pregnant next.

That’s how we know this picture is a slandering photoshoped montage! There’s no WAY Lily would not be gnawing on the chicken breast right next to her, given what else is going on & her paws & mouth being unoccupied & all. Shes a respectable wild coon lady, and this insinuation is simply SCANDALOUS!
Sandra: Woo!!
Woo: What!?
Whoah….
Well, at least he wasn’t displaying his predator skills. “Nature red in fang and claw” on the dining room table?
this… doesn’t make sense
a few comics ago, Woo was helping Shadow get back at the photographer that was peeping on him mating in his intimacy
and now he mate right there in public for everyone to peep on him? i call lack of consistency here
Well, I think it’s a great joke. And i admire the author’s breavery to draw somethinglike this on his comic
You know, with every new strip this comic becomes more and more bad…
Well, I do have a few things to say. Firstly, this kind of content does not offend me overly much. The problem arises when it seems out of character for the comic. It is not entirely out of character for the characters, but the gravity the situation holds means that this should not be a one-shot strip. If it is, I’m fairly disappointed, because it is not in a direction I ever expected this comic to go. I will not stop reading, as I said it doesn’t offend me. But this content doesn’t suit the feel of S&W.
@ kitenkaiba:
i don’t think it’s been years in comic time.
I’m not even sure what to make of this comic anymore, with as much as it’s been tiptoeing on the line of “Can I show this to my family?” and “No one may no about this.” All within a fairly recent window of time.
Political and social controversy I can give a pass to. With as story-filled as this particular comic is, it makes sense for it to show up every so often.
We’ve gone from weird kinks to animal characters actually mating in front of everyone in a very short span of time.
It’s now to the point where I don’t think I can feel comfortable showing people this comic unless I know they are both adults and open minded, if this is the direction it’s going now.
I really hope this is a temporary thing.
@ Zero:
An uncensored version? That sounds like maverick talk to me!
@ mario: He will never do that in a social event: speaking with the mouth full is very unpolite.
Jeez, you American prudes, of course this comic is more open-minded, it’s German. Sex exists. Get the fuck over it.
Only Americans need to make up myths like the bedsheet hole so that at least someone would be more prudish than them. No sex allowed in America.
I’ve always loved Sandra and Woo – even Larisa’s more dangerous panels were ok with me. But this is a bit much… Because even though this is normal for raccoons, I feel this was very out of character for the comic itself. This isn’t something Sandra should see – whether or not it’s something that “happens” to kids (they walk in on their parents, I get it). If anything, this strip makes me feel like the upcoming story is her father finally putting his foot down and saying that wild raccoons cannot make good pets. End of story. Kaput. Done. Goodbye, Woo. I’m really hoping next week’s strip makes up for this, because whoever thought this would be a funny joke… it’s really not, when you compare it to the rest of the series thus far. This is borderline “stop reading” material…
@ Lamblamb:
Same here…
@ Luckster:
I agree. I’ve wanted to show this comic to my boyfriend for a while now – because Cloud and Sandra’s panels really make me smile.
But this could be a deal breaker. And as someone said earlier, this is a consistency error. After helping Shadow get back at that photographer for making his intimate moment with Echo public, why would Woo openly put on a display for any humans – Sandra’s family or not?
I can already spot several Americans outing themselves in the comments section.
I have no words
Internet Rule 34 — “If it exists, there is porn of it. No exceptions”
Once again, we get hit in the face with the simple fact that Woo is a raccoon, not a human, and so has very different ideas of what constitutes “best behaviour.”

I am shocked.
No I am offended, offended to the core! I never expect to see such a thing on such a high quality comic… just shameful.
If I ever see a “Censored” bar cover anything up again I will stop reading this rag.
What are you becoming, Family Circus?
@ Decklen:
er… kid friendly morals? do you actually read this strip?
I’d like to remind everyone that:
1 – Animals have sex. And stop moaning “my little brother saw it this is horrible”, Discovery Channel shows animals mating. REAL animals. FILMED. Oh the humanity!
2 – This comic has had a story arc, not a one-shot, a STORY ARC about Cloud having an erection in front of Sandra. And he got taunted about it. I’m preeeeetty sure Sandra knows what sex is.
Also please, stop your “the comic is over bull***”. It might be over for you, meanwhile, open-minded people will keep reading.
Seriously if this happened at my family Thanksgiving we would all be laughing our asses off so much we could not even eat.
Outstanding.

Actually given the angle the Censor Bar™.isn’t actually required. It’s presence is more to make it clear.
I’m getting a weird survey ad pop up in the middle of the screen, and it won’t go away. And it’s not one of those nice surveys that Powree sets up, it’s about athletic wristbands.
Luckster wrote:
Yeah, I know what you mean. I showed it to someone recently and now I’m gonna feel pretty embarrassed if they kept reading it. I’d look like a furry or something.
Yes, they’re raccoons, but they’re *anthropomorphic* raccoons, and regular characters no less. It’s not terribly different from showing humans doin’ it.
Also, the conflict someone already mentioned versus the whole “invasion of Shadow’s privacy” arc is completely jarring. Is Novil paying attention to his own writing? I guess he’s just getting bored at this point.
Well, I’ve got to admit, I didn’t see that one cumming..dear god, the comment section is going to be swamped in this one. I don’t know what’ll be worse, the sex jokes or people complaining about Woo having sex on the table.
@ Xezlec:
You do realize Shadow is a fox, right? And Woo is a racoon?
Do you realize different species have different behaviours, with foxes being typically shy and racoons super-daring?
@ Pylgrim:
I think that it’s less prudishness and more of a sense of FFS. Sex and sexuality is so pervasive in our culture and on the internet especially, it tends to get a little over bearing. It’s nice to find a comic that gives you a reprieve from the horn-doggedness of the usual internet fare and find something that’s actually wholesome, but more and more as this comic progresses it’s losing that cleverness and intelligence that made it such a joy and delving into the cheap and crass. Something I thought I escaped with S&W. Don’t get me wrong, I love blue humor, but I also love a cleverly written comic that gives me a break from the gutter, and let’s me see the stars.
WHY’D YOU CENSOR IT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Hyperbolic Silence wrote:
Describing humor as in the gutter just because it’s about sex (even if it’s just talking animals) is a symptom of prudishness.
Some other comment described it as shock humor, but it works perfectly well without experiencing any shock. It’s a normal joke setup about a character unintentionally causing offense because he doesn’t understand the behavioral norms of another group. I wasn’t shocked, though I was surprised since I expect most media from shying away from sex even animal sex.
Shocking! Animals having coitus?! Next thing you’ll have lesbian kisses and teenage boners in your comic. Well done – you made me snort with laughter. I knew the comments would be just as entertaining. Keep being creative!
Definitely a Memorable event, on Both sides of the fourth wall.
I found the past few and in the past posts rather lacking in humor.
This however has completely renewed my interest in the series.
Woo is what woo does: stickin’ it to the establishment & makin’ love. ;D
Oh yes, and for everyone crying “this is out of character because he protected the privacy of his friends!”
Umm, it’s perfectly possible for Woo to not care about his own privacy and yet protect the privacy of others. He understood that Shadow is not as comfortable with that as Woo himself is and protected Shadow because that’s what friends do. If anything, you’re being pricks for thinking that’s inconsistent somehow. This is no excuse to shove your American prudery on others. Sex exists, and we’re having it. Deal with it, you poor repressed people.
Now you must be outcrying “how come he didn’t understand Sandra’s views on the subject”. Well, because she never told him as such. Never. She told him to be himself, so he assumed she was fine with this. There was just no such failure of communication with Shadow.
In other words, this writing is perfectly consistent, so stop crying and go get laid please.

Continuing(not against you, mind you, you’re awesome for thinking I’m awesome), this is not a hard concept to grasp. Pictures of Shadow have been taken without Shadow’s consent. as it was clearly told to Woo. That’s why Woo fought for Shadow. Woo himself, on the other hand, is perfectly fine with exposing himself, he’s giving consent to it. He mistook Sandra’s words as consent(as a request in fact, as that’s what “best behavior” actually means for a raccoon) and that’s why there’s this situation. Sandra could not have told him otherwise, because, well, would YOU? Did you expect this to happen? Then how do you expect a, what, 10-year-old(I forgot her age) to ever bring it up? And why should Woo bring it up? He can’t know everything, he’s a raccoon that lives with a kid.
Just because one is fine with doing something doesn’t mean one is fine with it done randomly to others without their approval. That’s a line of thought that leads into rape apologism.
Basically, people’s arguments that this somehow means Woo could not have protected Shadow speak a whole lot more about those people than they do about him.
@ Sarusig:
No, actually, I agree with him.
The joke is shocking, yes, but that is seriously not the direction I want to see the comic going.
@ Steven:
Eatin’ turkey -Like a Bawss- Bang my Girlfriend -Like a Bawss- on the Table -Like a Bawss- on Thanksgiving -Like a Boss-
Sheesh, people are -super- sensitive about this for some reason, I thought it was hillarious, and it’s about time we finally get to see Woo in action again, even though he did appear in the previous as the silent raccoon, but c’mon.. Woo is what makes this series golden :3
Wow! This is the 21st century shouldn’t Puritans be irrelevant by now? Kid’s cartoons are far more violent and (depending on your country) sexual if only in a “acceptable” way. Get over yourself prudes. If you don’t like it don’t read it. He’ll Teen Titans makes this comic seem tame.
