I plan to commission other artists to draw high-quality artwork featuring characters from Sandra and Woo for our Patreon patrons (not necessarily in a 16:10 wallpaper format).
As a first step, I’d like to ask all of our patrons for suggestions what you would like to see. You may provide as many ideas as you like and also make the descriptions as detailed as you like. In fact, I’d even prefer detailed descriptions.
- Luna: W– what…?!
- Jennesta: Sandra told us everything about your dire situation, Luna. So the whole class chipped in and donated all these things for your new home.
- Benjamin: Most also didn’t find the alternative of being roasted alive by Larisa particularly compelling.
- Sandra: … And this should cover your bills for a while.
- Luna: Sandra, that’s…
- Larisa: I’ve sold my flamethrower for you, Luna! My flamethrower!!
- Larisa: I hope you’re happy now!
- Luna: I am!

and we’re all like
“WHAT’S IN THE BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOX?!?!?!”
(remember Se7en?)
Now that this arc is over i would very much love for a bit of the old formula 🙂 arcs focusing on sandra and woo, woo and his gf/friends in the woods. Just the general shenanigans they used to get up to would be fricken awesome
So that’s what the flamethrower was used for
She sold the FLAMETHROWER?! Okay, that’s love.
Meh.
Yep, it was the internet she sold it too. Found it!

Hmm. Luna accepts gifts far more graciously than most; I’m impressed.
@ Mechwarrior:
Now that’s funny right there, I don’t care who you are 🙂
@ FloppyNotFound:
She sold it to herself, and took money out of the Rainy Day fund.
Flamethrower…whoa…
Flamethrower-san nooooo!
RIP best character ever, you had so much to do…Okay hopefully not.
I Was wondering how that site got a hold of a decent flamethrower for $1600.

@ FloppyNotFound:
I think we can safely say that it is in better hands regardless of whom it was sold to.
So much generosity and charity! Hmmmm… Is it just a coincidence that this comics appeared just days after starting the Patreon campaign?

And here I was hoping this was an Obama Derangement Syndrome Free Zone.

What’s in the box? The Hire Purchase/credit agreement for all the stuff – the classroom whip-round only paid the deposit.

oh, don’t get me wrong, i don’t claim to be right on this matter, i’m a bitter, egotistic, dirty minded sloth of a man, i like to drown myself in the thought that the world revolve around me
my over-inflated pride won’t allow me to accept any unexpected gifts from anyone, especially from people close to me, that’s all. i’m a dysfunctional being in all the glory of it, and i love it
Those aren’t very practical curtain arrangements. They block out most of the outside light.
@ Mortar:
Who said we want outside light to begin with.
@ Novil:
it was sold to this guy of course
Woah.
I didn’t expect Larisa to give up her flamethrower. Luna is so happy now! But I can’t help but feel sad for Larisa, does anyone see that look on her face at the last panel?
@ Jerry:
Just don’t tell them about the Teajadists in the Republican Party, or that Reagan let in more immigrants than Obama.
I hate to be the one to play Party Pooper, but I need to point out that this doesn’t sound like a good idea. I’m not fully sure if Luna’s place is in a safe neighborhood, judging by her front door (but hey, I could be wrong, we never got a look at the neighborhood). Buying her family such great stuff could probably invite attention from unwanted visitors. I’m not saying it isn’t a friendly gesture, they mean well. I’d have just toned it down with the flat-screen TV, 26″ at most.
I am starting a fund to help Larisa reacquire her flamethrower. At present moment, we have raised nearly one-third the cost of buying one new, but we also have no more potential donors. Are any of you willing to contribute? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you.
to be fair…. i think larissa makes a valid point…. i’d have a hard time parting with my flame thrower too…
I just realized that they’re asking Patreon patrons. Well, here’s my suggestion “just because”.
Larissa, Sandra, Woo, and Cloud as sci-fi military characters, posing with weapons and in front of their hovercraft personnel carrier. The hovercraft is armed with a flamethrower cannon. They are framed by alien vegetation with alien arms parting to show us the “filthy humans”.
Who donates a flat-screen TV? I could see donating a CRT TV in this day and age but a flat-screen? That is super generous.
And I do doubt a second-hand flamethrower fetches for that much.
@ Alex:
Definitely! Bring this comic back to its roots for a bit! That’s what made this comic so great to begin with!
No!! Not the flamethrower!

Actually, it’s the US Congress that has let in the Largest Group of Immigrants.
The guys getting H1-B Visas to replace all our Computer Programmers with people from India & China who will work for Half as much.
And, they are working right now to Increase the number allowed in this year.
.
Because, they claim, there just aren’t any Americans willing to Program those Computers. It’s such a Dirty Job.
.
A cuckoo clock?
She sold the FLAMETHROWER?! That was a vintage M2!
That’s what I call friendship.
Damn, that class must get some pretty sweet allowances. Luna’s new home’s got a Flatscreen, a cuckoo clock, a large rug, a new couch, a coffee table, several paintings, fancy curtains, what looks like a hamster cage, these are some generous American kids.
@ Carmeops:
We all have our limits. I’m sure if you had a dependent on the line you could swallow that pride so they could have a better life. But if its just you then its your call what charity and kindness you can take on good concious. I personally would refuse hard cash but i’d take the furniture and other physical gifts. That kind of thing is more personal and easer to feel OK about tacking. That person had to think about it and really put mental effort in considering your needs and situation. Hard money always makes things awkward in my books.
I found Larisa’s favorite song:

(sorry if it doesn’t work as a link)
I love how they actually have a bag with a dollar sign on it. 🙂
It’s times like this that make me think: “Maybe Larisa is not literally a classic psychopath? It’s starting to look as if she can actually feel, and act upon, an OCCASIONAL flash of true empathy regarding someone else’s personal problems instead of just ignoring them as irrelevant to her own agenda.”
So….Jenesta’s first appearance, I wonder what her personality will be like
@ Lukkai:
She could buy one at http://xm42.com/. Yes, indeed, flamethrowers are now commercially available!!!
Gee that sure was a big one!
Luna should be extra thankful
I love these happy endings…..

I guess, ithere is a norse God inside the box….
