As for the debate, I long ago admitted to myself that there are no actual programmers anymore. Everyone uses programs to build their programs, making everyone totally dependant on either opcode written 30 years ago or code only understood by 3 guys that work for ISO.
I can forgive the use of existing sorts for the sake of expediency. What can never be forgiven is the use of Java by any programmer over the age of 12. :^\
