[0713] Group Of Recipients
└ posted on Thursday, 27 August 2015, by Novil
I have posted the submissions that reached a place between position 11 and 25 of this year’s artwork contest.
- Sandra: You accidentally sent a nude photo of yourself to several people?!
- Larisa: Yup.
- Sandra: To how many people?
- Larisa: Well, yesterday I installed this new, unofficial add-on…
- Larisa: … and apparently I misconfigured it, or it had a bug, or something.
- Sandra: This means you sent it to all your contacts?!
- Larisa: All SnapPic users in North America.
I did a similar thing in what is now Twoo. I thought I was posting to one individual but it went wild! Not a picture, btw, just an embarrassing question. Later, Twoo sent an e-mail to every one of my gmail contacts. So, I can sympathise with Larisa!
She is so dead.
Larisagate 2015
Oh, dear, Larisa…
Well, come on at least it didn’t leak when somebody hacked your phone… But i suppose people who know Larisa won’t be too surprised anymore…
So that is why the tissue isle is empty…!!
YOUR THE REASON I HAD TO WORK SO HARD TO RESTOCK!
@ dyingdemon:
Best comment ever! I like it better than the actual comic.
Holy….
That’s… not good. Well, chances of Landon finding out through someone other then Larisa have raised DRAMATICALLY.
I don’t see this ending too well.
it’s a good thing i forgot to add SnapPic to my android
My god…
Can you imagine though, if there was an addon to send pictures to all users of snapchat in America? You’d be getting a dick pic every minute.
How does an unofficial addon even do that?
Welp, just nuke the internet!… Right?
Well. That Escalated Quickly. Wouldn’t that be child pornography? Sent to thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people?
@ EW:
Yep. Go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
EW wrote:
Most places require Intent to distribute.
But, she’d be in Serious Trouble in Kansas.
They might even send out a Kidnap Team to fetch her.
…
Hmmmm.
Apparently, Sandra is Not a SnapPic User.
Yet.
Well someone’s getting arrested for Child pornography. If this ain’t the definition of screwed over then I don’t what is.
@ dyingdemon: Did you run out of lotion as well?
Man, that’s a lot of adults going to jail for possessing underage nudity, huh?
So… many… people… arrested for possession of nudes of an underage…
@ dyingdemon:
Tissues? I really hope you’re not implying what I think you’re implying, because that doesn’t seem like a nice comment to make about a 13 year old, fictional or otherwise.
10/10, Larisa!
Truly best girl, she can’t even do a blunder in a normal way. Send a nude by mistake to a person who’s not your S.O.? Nope, this is too boring for the greatness of Larisa, she will by mistake send it to half of America!
@ Alcarin Kitsune:
There goes several police Chief Captains, DAs and Judges. Maybe and supreme court justice while were at it. It’s going to destabilize the government.
Her anarchistic tendencies are leaking into the Net.
Had a look, using snapchat as the baseline, there’s +200 million users monthly on a global scale so at least 40 million from North America.
The girl’s on Fire. Her out? Being an artist, claim it as art.
Does the rarity law applies? The most there is of one thing, the less valuable – and worthy of atention – is that thing?
Because Larisa is now just under cats and food plates in quantity of social media images.
Then again, I want to see the system try to lock up three whole countries under posession of questionable material 😀 😀
Well played, Oliver and Powree, well played
I had the same dang reaction as Sandra. I see no way out of this.
@ Tsunami:
Best to get ahead of it and tell him right away. Trying to keep a secret everybody knows is bound to backfire.
Holy Hannah… Please excuse me, I need to clean my jaw off the floor. I think Crestlinger has a good idea here: as an artist, call it art and possibly a way of making a social statement?
So, not a strapless swimsuit, just a skin clad smiling Larisa. This goes soooo beyond George Takei’s “Ooh Myyy!”
We can only hope that Zoey isn’t on snappic
I… would really like to know where this is going.
We’re talking about nude photos of an underage girl and that’s something I would *not* like to receive on my phone.
I’m both curious and a little creeped out.

That depends, if it’s a Monday or a Wednesday we’re good.
How to deal with it:
Send another pic with you firing that flamethrower
or
Send another pic with a d*ld* getting burned by that flamethrower
That…can’t be a unique case. There has to have been other “Oops, I just sent this extremely private photo to EVERYONE” cases. Maybe it doesn’t actually work? Or nobody else uses it?
My friends wife has done this, obviously not all of america, more than once. Larisa and her seem to have the same attitude about it. No big deal it’s in the past now and it’s funny to think about. She seems like she is bragging a little doesn’t she, not at what she did but at how big the mess she made by mistake is.
@ KurosawaShirou:
And send a picture with a link to her public arrest record.
@ Effie Ray:
Tissues to wipe away the tears shed due to the corruption of out youth.
@ Shadow12000:
IF there is a bug, then everyone will be making the same mistake, so Larisa’s image may actually be lost in the crowd. On the other hand, if Larisa DID misconfigure the settings then she STILL could be lost in the crowd as other will make the same mistake.
Thank you for your comment, and take care!
There’s a guy in England who accidentally sent a sexually explicit text to everybody on his contact list, including his students–his eleven-year-old students. Thankfully the judge in charge of his case accepted it was a genuine mistake.
Will the recipients even know that Larisa is underage?
@ DonJuan:
not sure, another isle @_@
@ Effie Ray:
Not saying it is, but understand the mindset of the internet. 3 (maybe 4 groups of minds)
1. i dont know this person, i don’t want to see this (delete and possible report)
2. OMG BEWBS! (implied actions take forward)
3. This is wrong and I’m offended (proceeded to have person tracked down and “Justice” served)
I know this is a generalization but its how it works. 13 or not. If no age is stated many just assume old enough.
My experience with things like omegal and snapchat and their users have them fall close to number 2. just my experience with them. yours might be different. in the end its a comic set made to cause a little drama and taboo breaking. That is pretty much Larissa in a nutshell. I don’t need to imply anything as the implications where made with just her name and “birthday suit photos” (not to mention her rather long list of sexual themed strips and panels) I’m not saying its good. I’m not endorsing the action, but I am enjoy a joke with it. 😛
She’s gonna need a bigger restraining order map
Yikes…
Awkward moment for Larisa. I wonder how Landon would have received that though
Oopsie indeed…
@ erejnion:
That’s why we like her… besides the flamer 😉
If it’s eve possible to do what Larisa did, then whoever is responsible for SnapPic may also be in trouble. Of course, I don’t think that what would have happened in the US will actually happen here since that doesn’t seem fun.
Just now i realized that they all are growing up real fast

There will be some who will definitely try to claim that they thought she was 18+, but unless it was a poor quality picture it’s likely that most people who see it will realize that said person is a minor.
I don’t think that kind of option on a smartphone application is legal…
First of all, people may want to see content that suits them. Making “send to everyone in North America” an option just leaves potential of abuse for spamming (probably) free advertisements.
Secondly it isn’t user friendly and could cause people to accidentally transmit personal information. I mean, I am 50% older than Sandra yet I have trouble with a smartphone’s touch screen.
In my opinion this application shouldn’t have even been released considering this feature.
