Old plot twist. But still I see Woo putting on the hat with earholes. so… Novil stop messing with our minds 😉
Novil: that should be “last night” rather than “this night”. But now that I think about it, I have no idea why we don’t say “this night” since we do say “this morning”.

Maybe it’s because we usually go to bed during the previous day so use that as our reference point, whereas “this night” sounds analagous to “tonight” as in the next period of night time.
Meanwhile: “There are otherworldly voices coming out of the bottomless pit of doom!”
Are they chanting “Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn” by any chance? 🙂
Ah, the old “and then I woke up” resolution.
And you have a brower-hijacking ad in the rotation.
Looks like they finally noticed the soccer ball Cloud threw down it.
Wait a second… THAT WAS ALL A DREAM?! IS REALITY ITSELF JUST A DREAM?! ARE WE MERELY FIGMENTS OF EACH OTHER’S IMAGINATIONS?! WHAT?!
Cue: X-Files theme!
Can you hear it? I can hear it! 😉
Or what was this show with Jonathan Frakes?
“Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction”
Did this really happen? Or did we invent this?
But I don’t remember this show having a theme song 😉
The old “It was all a dream” trope but with the “woke up in a stranger reality” twist!
Hope someone’s got their English-Otherworldly Otherwordly-English dictionary with them.
That bottomless pit wouldn’t happen to be connected to the volcano, would it?
@ mittfh:
I think the introduction of the great old ones would be a bit much even for this arc.
It wasn’t a Dream, but Seeoahtlahmakaskay decided that Woo was the only one who Needed to Remember what Really Happened when the Hummingbird God messed with one of Her Raccoons.
why does it look like the crunchies still have raisins in it?
Christian Epple wrote:
Might mess with those minds even more effectively if in that last panel Woo had been shown stifling a belch.
This all was a dream cliche?
WHY.
Is she eating the cereal with raisins?
Come on, it was either this or Sandra playing with action figures.
The hat Qoo got in the dream transferred to reality?
This should go in the same place as of the gryphon feather a cat got in a dream.
Every town should have a bottomless pit of doom
After all this arc…I’m saying:
C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!
Al least we aren’t dead thanks to Woo!
The guy that was trying to make raisin cereal died an undeserving death. Imagine if it actually tasted good.
Also, the ISIS joke from before… just, yeah fuck that god.
With 80-year olds.
Seriously.
But now that’s over and done with…
I’d say fuck ISIS, but I don’t have anything appropriately traumatizing for that.
So no Aztec god?
Did Sandra also dream the part where she was absent and Woo called for help?
Anyway, I wonder what those voices could be? Maybe the soccer ball Cloud threw in as a revenge for interrupting his 634534’th attempt to kiss Sandra gained sentience and super power and is now trying to escape?
Hey! It’s Cloud! Haven’t seen him in awhile!
By the way: this is NOT in the same arc as the last page 😉
No “killer balloon” in the title.
So … WAS it all a dream, or did it happen and her dream was something else?
What connection does the number 745 has to the Nascar Lines?
And why does the FBI deny that there have been millions and millions of people abducted in the US each year?
Well at least I can answer that last two questions.
Note: Woo/Qoo still has the HAT.
…and once they’ve befriended the demons, they can sneak off to have technically-not-sex.
….like they say often on the housepets comic os similar situations….
Or was it?
Pit probably created via one of Yuna’s experiments.
As foretold the pit has returned!
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that she has her alarm set to 5 o’clock in the morning? Who does that?
TwoG wrote:
Maybe her school bus is leaving a 6 o’ clock or something? Maybe it’s 5 o’clock in the afternoon?
@ Christian Epple:
If I had a pet raccoon, a hat with earholes would be the FIRST thing I’d get. Of course Sandra has one!
The irony of what Woo said…thought.
TwoG wrote:
I was wondering the same thing. It’s possible that it’s intended to show 6 o’clock but it sure does look more like 5 o’clock, and I don’t know many teenagers who rise that early. (Not many even rise at 6 o’clock either – unless it’s pm and not am – but that’s another matter)
…You guys can’t seriously have believed that the last arc was ‘real’. First, they weren’t even using the same names, and second, we couldn’t have possibly killed off Sandra’s only relative. Who would she live with?

Slow down, dude! Take time to exhale!

Umm, yeah…. You just figuring this out? 😛 lol
@ Jerry:
Since for the Qoo parts Sandra is not present, and Qoo is away from Sandy for part of the action, it clearly wasn’t a dream.
@ artemi:
Names = role playing, as they’ve done before.
Relative… who?
“What a dream I had! And you were there, and Woo, and Qoo…”
Maybe believing it was just a dream is Sandra’s way of repressing the memory of people falling into lava.
I’ve had dreams that included scenes that I was able to view without being present in them, almost as though I were watching them on television. They usually get retconned in when I start to question how something came about. My dreams often don’t respect the narrative flow, and may repeat the same scene many times with slight variations.
Hey, nobody said the last arc was the dream!
Sorry Novil, but I really didn’t enjoy this arc. It was just way too sporadic for my tastes.
artemi wrote:
Don’t mix Roger with Richard. Her dad was not killed in the last arc. And the other name stuff is just one of her role playing (OK. This time it went off the rails quite terribly …). She has been “Sandy South” before when she helped Cloud find his lost action figures.
And we talking about a comedy comic with talking racoons and six year olds building working cold fusion energy generators from toys (including black holes in the carpet).
Not to forget presidents who own six feet tall balls of solid gold.

He clearly is playing us here.
You could argue, that it was all but a dream, since the cereal seems to be OK, as far as Sandra is concerned.
Yet, if this all was just a dream, were did Woo get the very same fedora, that Lloyd Parker gave to him in said dream?
Woo has the hat from the ‘dream’, and he also says with a knowing glance and smile “You can say that again!” when Sandra mentions that no dream could be as strange as reality. This suggests that the events did occur but reality was reset (the cereal is fixed) but Woo was allowed to remember them.
