- Thomas: Would you like a hot dog?
- Luna: Yes… No… I mean, only if it isn’t too much of a hassle for you.
- Thomas: Dude, Luna really is as timid as Sebastian said.
- Luna: Take that back! Or I’ll rip your balls off and shove them up your ass!!
- Thomas: Never judge a girl before you’ve seen her reaction to a referee’s bad call.
- Stadium announcer: But what’s that?! The referee seems to be revoking his decision!

@ RobbieMcAndrew:
Yeah, but the players don’t listen. They’re all Tumbling.
Huh. Anyone else reminded of Fluttershy?
Timid chics are like that B)
I would know, I use all my swear word vocabulary while playing videogames alone. No one suspects a thing.

But he’s never shown up in any of the previous strips. Usually, this series has been good about keeping its continuity in the story. (Even Thomas himself had appeared in a panel back in 2010 before this storyline.) Now we hear about this character we’ve never seen before, and I’m left wondering, “Wait, who now?”
Besides, it was Sandra who pointed out the obvious to him, not this Sebastian character.
@ Ajedi32:
Of course. And a handful of other characters,
Beware the fury of the meek; it tends to equalize their usual reservedness.
Is it just me, or does S&W feature more and more cursing as time goes on? Kinda fitting, considering the characters are slowly growing up, but it’s still a little jarring. I wonder if that’s what watching one’s kids grow up feels like.
Guess she’s a real fan.
@ Sally:
Nice.
@ Luke:
Fear boner in panel 4.
The sign of a great character is not just giving them rules, codes, or characteristics that they follow, but also creating exceptions for them in given circumstances. That’s a human quality. It’s only out of character if there is no rhyme or reason to these breaks.
…personally, I think she just has a passion for sports. I mean she likes Thomas, she chose this as the date, and she owns sportswear. Just saying.
@ Ajedi32:
You know, I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with that parallel.
Waste of a good hot dog.
Hurray! I’ve caught on up! That only took the best part of two days.
I totally agree with everyone here, do not mess with Luna man. Its like messing with Fluttershy (this reference added here as the creator is a total brony, and I am a-okay with that). You just don’t, unless you want an extremely enraged person breathing down your back. And trust me. You do not want that person to be Fluttershy. She would destroy you. No questions asked.
So no update today?
@ Lantheria:
Glad I wasn’t the only one wondering about that.
@ Tucci:
If that were an SEC game, she would have said “I’ll rip ya’ll’s balls off…” and then a toothless Redneck meth addict and his wife/sister (one of the many 75,000 non-student Rednecks at the event), with their combined 5th grade educations, – will use the guns from their pick-up truck, and shoot her in the parking lot!!
Same as happens every year – @ Clemson/Univ of SC games, or shooting PLUS full scale rioting as with Univ of Georgia (excuse me! “Jawja!”) vs. Univ of Florida games (regardless of which city hosts) – and thus require the authority over ALL collegiate athletics in the USA to step in- and require games between ONLY those two SEC teams take place at a neutral location (75 miles from Univ of FL, 340 miles from Univ of GA!), at the home of the professional football team Jacksonville Jaguars (Florida)!,
Why? Because Rednecks LOVE their college team! (a stadium is the only part of a school beyond basic elementary school, they’ve ever been in!)
This, despite each school having two of the largest stadiums in the entire United States (#10 & #14) – both much larger than the pro stadium where they must play (#26)!!
@ Ivan Fang:
You certainly have a low opinion of the south.

SEC means something entirely different to me.
To me, it’s the Securities and Exchanges Commission.
@ Luke:
Oh my
The referee must cry in his sleep now
@ swoosh blade:
could be the inner city influence then.
I can’t beleive I’ve been going for years without knowing that.

Well, everyone forgets that she’s a Jersey girl. She’s shy and reserved because she lost her mother… but she couldn’t have grown up in the murder capital of the US without having a spine.
this comic strip and luna both are completely priceless.
I feel as if Luna would get along well with Ye Thuza
That last panel would’ve made her marriage material in my family!
