- Ruth: Thank you very much for the steak, Woo. It smells lovely! But wouldn’t it violate my strict carnivorous diet if I ate cow meat?
- Woo: Well, cows sometimes prey on little human children…
- Ruth: Really?!
- Ruth: Wirklich?!
- Woo: They try to keep it a secret, of course.
- Lily: I didn’t believe it at first, too. But then I saw one of these killer machines in action. Oh! My! God!
- Ruth: That’s a relief to know!
- Ruth: Hot damn, you’re one sexy piece of meat! Let’s have some fun together, what do you say?
- Ruth: … Yes, darling, right here, right now! I need to feel you inside me!
- Ruth: Oh yeah! Oh yeah! You’re so big!! Just as I like it!
I’ve heard of creepy pasta, but I must say that creepy meat is not a term I often hear.
You know, I often hear Food Network shows referred to as “food porn” but I didn’t think they meant it literally…
Vega just slightly peering out in the last panel…

Well Joey Tribbiani might see it that way since food is the only other thing besides sex than he craves. Even lost a girl because he stole her desert.
This strip just went from humorously dark to “pitch black creepy corner of the internet” dark. Let’s just hope Vega doesn’t turn Ruth into her role model. Also, really love the great shading in the last panel.
Believe it or not, you can actually find video evidence of a cow eating a chicken (well, a chick) as an act of opportunistic omnivorous behavior. If it happened to be that cow, I think you could make an excuse.
What the fuck?
Who would’ve ever thought a steak could bring a squirrel to or…something or other…
O-kaaay, somebody’s got to start avoiding any carnivore that munches on magic mushrooms . . .
Shield thine eyes, children!
Shouldn’t she close the ears…
Vore incoming?

Should I tell you what she do with the meat?!
The all new XXX Raw Meats now on DVD and Blu-ray.
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
just keep looking around, you’ll find a ot more food porn
Oh wow, those last two panels. I’m afraid to wonder if Ruth’s doing anything worth hiding from Sirius & Vega’s eyes.

It’s the fault of all those Factory Farms.
For years, they fed Cows the sweepings from the Slaughterhouses.
Chickens, pigs, even Other Cows were a regular part of the diet.
That’s how we “discovered” Mad Cow Disease.
It’s the result of feeding slaughtered Cow Scraps to Live Cows to make them Grow Faster.
Wow, disturbing little strip on Monday. Still amusing though, and I can sort of understand if Ruth has been faithfully only eating old chewy meat since the last conversation with Sid. To be offered something which is so succulent and delicious right after such a diet ……….. that’s the danger of a diet, deprive off good things for too long, in a moment of weakness, the person might go on an out of control binge.
Best diets are the ones which actually plan for so called “indulgence periods”, where the person can periodically eat an ice cream/pork chop once in a while during a diet of carrot sticks and celery.
WHY IS THIS NSFK SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME!
Anyone else seeing food envy in that last panel?

Well, that was silly.
Also, aren’t cows herbivores?

The Power Of Lying!
@ Eddyez:
Pun intended?
Well, I called the bit about cows not fitting her diet. The rest though… thankfully never crossed my mind. Also, nice to see that cows eating human children is such a “relief” to you Ruth.
Well THAT’S something I never saw coming!
I don’t even want to know what she’s doing with that steak, though from Lily’s expression in the last panel I’ve got a pretty good guess…
Another thing, where did Woo disappear to at the end?

New use for bananas
There goes the ESRB (or whatever equivalent for this type of media).
Despite the sexual overtone, I’m guessing “I need to feel you inside me!” refers to eating the steak. Regardless, it’s bad that Vega’s peaking, she is the one who’s the most likely to see Ruth as an idol or something and imitate her.
That’s exactly why she’s peeking out 😀
And to quote movie Wade Wilson:
“Look away, child…I SAID LOOK AWAY!” (Vega, I’m talking to you!)
Maybe she’s getting a New York Striptease 😀
So she’s raping the meat now. Never thought I’d type that.
Interesting to note,
Cows, horses, deers and other “herbivores”
have been known on frequent occasion to engage in
Carnivorous behavior, where they will chase catch and eat
small bite sized animals, such as flightless baby birds.
And will graze from carcases of larger animals
that have conveniently been left by hunters or wolves.
Given that they will hunt and eat baby birds from time to time,
Cows do fall within Ruth’s diet plan.
Ruth… has… issues
…
I’ll be in my bunk.
As a meat lover who’s trying to reduce my meat intake and not eat beef at all (though I’m not strictly vegetarian or vegan yet, since I still eat meat and dairy from time to time), I can kind of understand Ruth here.
Sometimes I see and smell a steak or hamburger and feel the urge to eat beef again…
Best part is Vega in the first panel.
@ Kuraimizu:
So herbivores actually are able to digest meat? Well, that’s interesting and a bit confusing.
It’s not about how big the meat is. It’s how you go about putting it inside you.
AndiJN wrote:
Yes, to a certain extent. They don’t have most of the enzymes needed to correctly break down animal proteins, but they have some of them. There are even some species of deer, like the muntjac, where small vertebrates and carrion make up enough of their diet that they’re classified as omnivores. Most herbivores, like sheep or cattle, that deliberately eat small animals are doing it to gain minerals that are otherwise hard to come by in their diets, like salts and calcium, rather than protein.
I believe I read somewhere that carnivores and herbivores do not and can not maintain a strict meat or plant diet. As many have noted, herbivores will occasionally eat opportunistic meat, and carnivores will eat fruits and such as well. Animals don’t receive all the nutrients they require to live healthily with a strict diet in either direction. That said, I can’t see herbivores eating more than a few bites of meat. A vegetarian friend of mine eats a chicken nugget once every other month or so to make up for a lack of protein in his diet. He only eats a nugget because that’s all his body can handle without rejecting it, which he learned the hard way.
Come on guys, despite the innuendo I’m sure she’s just eating it.
…I hope.
