expelled for insulin not expelled for fireworks, sound very realistic actually. lol
Awesome comic as always!!
I read through the whole archive in less than a week …
@ 1oldbear:
Enormously more professional than the Adult Education school (i.e. no “children” anywhere near the place) I attended for a professional licence course, that put the entire building on Terrorist Lockdown because –and i could not make this stupid crap up– one, single, unarmed student was yelling loudly in the parking lot (apparently he was here for a high school diploma equivalency course and flunked).
An entire building with the lights out, the doors locked, and all the grown adults huddled against the interior walls in the dark like we were expecting an Al-Queda battalion to come marching down the hallways of a tiny school in the middle of Canada with assault rifles.
All over some loud punk having a tantrum!
I was furious when I found out what the hell caused this mass-panic attack. *I* would have gone out to talk to the kid myself if I’d had any idea the faculty was that lacking in common sense and problem solving skills. This is not a functional system!

Because XSS… a very common safety feature really…
” Riot as much as you want, Larisa.” – That was an order? Because we all know, she can bend the law of the physics, no matter what she write in the test, she can prove her rights, so the teacher must give her an ‘A’…
LARISA used SPLASH!
But nothing happened!
10/10 perfect strip!
I was thinking much the same.
As a physics teacher, I would tell her that she actually has 3 options:
1) Sit down and finish the test here.
2) Go to the office and finish the test there.
3) Hand it the test as it is and sit quietly while others finish their tests.
In any case, we are adding another 3 days (maybe a week) to her detention time.
New to this comic but not to Gaia, I just read through all comics tagged with ‘Larisa’. I’m saving what’s her face with the pet racoon for last.
Good show!

What do you take Larisa for? A keen understanding of Thermodynamics is crucial to making the biggest and best fires in any environment. She probably understands it better than the teacher.

Also, I like your prom arc idea! Would be interesting; there are many characters that could be expanded upon and that would be perfect.

Seeing as they’re 12/13 and thus still in Middle School (and yes, they have Physics classes for Middle School kids in some places) the Prom angle would be very much out of place. Prom is more typically associated with Junior and Senior High School grades… age 16-18.
A Middle School formal dance perhaps… but that would not be a Prom.

Nothing… but then Larisa doesn’t have Huntington’s disease and her diabetes is simply a side effect of her actual illness, Wolfram Syndrome
Quote from the above link: “Diabetes mellitus is typically the first manifestation”
Thus, she has neither Type 1 diabetes (not in the typical way at any rate) nor Huntington’s disease and treatments for either would be ineffective on someone with Wolfram Syndrome.

“come forward, Russia! Me and you!” is kinda what it means.
