I’m honestly hoping this plot ends up with Larissa and the devil battling a flood of angels and God himself with nothing but indirect interference, often including fire.

Wait a minute, maybe the angels didn’t actually hack the program – it’s Nefarion’s app showing that the devil being killed by the angels is the most likely way for Sandra to survive, and lying to the devil anout it in a way that makes sure that the devil does die?
From what was said the app seems to only show the single most probably path with no less likely alternatives, and given the nature of the devil in this story it probably shows in a variety of ways how to thwart the angels. Since it apparently contains Nefarion as a part of the app itself, it may be capable of decieving the user in order to make the angels more likely to fail, as long as it continues to perform the function if showing what must happen.
Oops the arch demons name is kevin. I dont know where I got Nefarion from
