Just to throw it out there, the devil made Larisa aware of the angels’ plot to kill Sandra, so it is impossible for Larisa to voluntarily save Sandra without it being because of the Devil’s influence. I don’t see the Devil changing his mind about wanting Larisa as a demon. I would say that either Sandra will die or Larisa will become a demon by the end of the arc.
The other possibility is like I said before, that Burma and the Angels are setting the devil up so that he’ll go after Larisa’s soul. Burma specifically suggested that the Devil pursue Larisa. The angels hacking the program and making him move rashly when it is finally back up will inevitably make him let his guard down and rely on the foresight program – which is likely being rendered worthless in this strip. We already saw a god of war get eaten some months ago.
Sandra: “No…not here…what will Cloud think?”
Larisa looks like she’s gonna kiss Sandra in that last panel X3

Heaven needs Sandra dead because of entropy and the need to add some tragedy into Cloud’s life. Review the first strip in this arc and you will understand.
Several times we (humans) wonder why tragedies like the death of a children/loved ones happens. Its the said part of “the divine plan” that some say God have for us.
About her blindness by the time of her death remember that her soul dont have Wolfram’s sindrome. That’s a problem of the, then dead, body of hers.

On the contrary my friend.
The fact that some characters like Woo and SEEOAHTLAHMAKASKAY have being mentioned in tags of the cover page of this arc means that they would be active characters in the story.
Since SEEOAHTLAHMAKASKAY is on bad terms with God already, I will not be surprised if she mess with God’s plans and make Sandra, on behalf of Woo, survive the day.
That way if Woo, or anyone else besides Larisa or the Devil, saves Sandra’s life then the contract would be void. The Devil loses Larisa’s soul and Larisa loses her chance of being a succubus after she dies.
Just remember that Woo had already some procognition capacity when he urged to saves Lyli’s life in the woods in the past.
Who is to say that he would not have some precog again in the case of Sandra?
@ George:
I don’t think Lar would be this down if she and Landon had rode the Happyville train together.
All of this still screams of a trick by Thomas J. There’s wheels within wheels going on here.

She is down because she is meeting a dear friend that is marked for death by the divine hitman.
She is worried principally because when the app gives the prediction she and the Devil would have very little time to come up with a plan do save Sandra.
I started reading this comic last week and I’m already caught up… in the middle of an arc! I need some of that dev.ilo software that can predict the future so I don’t have to wait.
Oh Sandy …
