- Larisa: A good friend helps you up when you fall. But she can only be there for you if you always tell her where you are going.
- Larisa: And that’s why best friends should never have secrets from each other.
- Sandra: I understand what you mean.
- Sandra: But my medical records are none of your business!!
- Larisa: Blood type AB-? That’s good to know!

I like that they can have fun like this even in the midst of a more serious storyline.
“So did that rash ever clear up, or…”
AB-? My word, Sandra is a rarity.
Red Cross: “Please donate blood, you get a cookie.”
*Sandra donates blood*
*Sandra dies of sepsis*
But, because Larisa, this unfortunate possible path has been avoided. 🙂
@ MidoriLuna:
Larisa: “Fungacide? Fungus!” 😛
“I’m not doing this on my own behalf – this is only so I can pass your data on to Satan!”
>:=)>
Wow, Sandra literally turned out to be a rarity, i wont be surprised if she has super powers now.
Next, Larisa will ask Sandra to release her tax returns.
Okay. Hey, Hitlery?
See that sign showing you the way to the hospital’s Neuropsychiatric (NP) Ward? Savvy “Parkinson’s disease, Stage 3”?
Siddown before you fall down. You’re TOAST.
@ Tucci:
Lol, not the right place for the conversation; though I think Hill has diabetes and they are covering it up.
Vote for a web comic instead of prez. Your vote actually matters at TWCs dot com…
Nobody cares about my state anyway. Blue, red, turquoise… whatever.
@ Tucci:
You should stop posting on random comment areas and talk to your friends about this. First, you need to go outside and interact with someone without yelling.
On the one hand, Sandra is a pretty much healthy person so I can’t imagine there’s anything all that interesting in her records.
On the other hand, as an American, can we please have ONE SPACE ON THE INTERNET where we don’t have to hear about this blasted dysfunctional election?!

Novil can remove whatever comments he wants. It’s his comic, not yours. He gets to choose what are acceptable topics of conversation here. Based on later comments, I’m guessing somebody tried to start another annoying off-topic political flamewar and ran afoul of the “no accusations toward anyone” rule for comments here.
@ Jim R:
I’ll say sorry. I was quite the hypocrite in my previous comment. 🙁
…Much like Larisa in the second panel.
*sobs* So, no bonfire?
@ Strife:
She’ll be one up on Trump 😛
Okay, how do you find a way to indirectly help Sandra without telling her directly? Then again, would Sandra believe you?
When you have angels plotting to kill you in a horrible, bloody way. It does seem like a little gift of fortune to be blessed with universal reciever blood.
@ Wyzwon:
Everyone has to have something, right? Good to know Sandra is easier to save though 🙂
@ Wyzwon:
No, universal receiver blood is AB+.
Don’t forget that there are lots of other minor blood groups in addition to the major 3. There’s even one blood group called Sarah.

But it’s nearly universal receiver blood. Not quite as good, but still very good.
How did Larisa even get Sandra’s medical records? Were they just lying around?
Actually with the kind of shenanigans this lot get up to knowing Sandra’s blood type could be important somewhere down the line. Unless the next time Cloud kills a bat it drops some kind of healing potion…
@ Cameron:
It is Larisa! Why would you even ask!? 😛

After seeing some of the Youtube comments, I’m very okay with moderated comments. Whoever wants to go nuts with flamewars can go to the DramaAlert channel on Youtube, that’s probably the right place for that.
Back on topic, right now I fail to see how Sandras medical record in general (or her blood type in particular) would be relevant to the whole story, but that will probably be revealed later. Of course I could try to guess, but I’m too lazy for that. 😛
@ King kenya:
No, the real rarity is O-, because it only accepts from O-, whereas AB- can accept from A-, B- and O-…
And then there’s the even worse case: h/h (AKA “Oh” or “Bombay blood group”).
@MarqFJA87 O- (1% to 8% of the population depending on ethnicity) is not a rarity compared to AB- (0.1% to 1%), which is the rarest type. Of course, while O- is rarer as a recipient, AB- is a recipient for only 2% to 15% of the population. There are enzymes that can convert {AB,A,B} blood into O blood by stripping the antigens.
In one amusing General Hospital soap opera plot, a character had AB- blood and was going to die in surgery unless the falsely accused villain who happened to be the patient’s sister but didn’t know it gave blood.
I’m a bit surprised that Larisa would pry into Sandra’s medical history when she has been so secretive about her own.
@ AndiJN:
Mostly, I think Larisa wants to cover all her bases. So, in the event the angels do manage to hurt Sandra at the mall, Larisa can quickly get her to an hospital and have all the information she needs to be of help.
Is it just me, or do the characters look older? Are they still 13-ish?
Friends are willing to help you move a couch. Real friends will help you move the body.
For a surprise pitch from the angels Sandra has something terminal too, passed on from her mother, and the clock’s almost up.
First the unexpected hug, now stealing her medical history and a lecture on “helping you when you fall”? If I’d been Sandra, I would’ve definitely smelled something suspicious…
@ Xezlec:
yeah i see your point
Larisa and Sandra are both pretending to not be keeping secrets from each other…
…Woo and the Devil walk past the room!

makes just as much sense as any of the others
@ Francisco: Somehow I didnt actually notice the minus sign and assumed positive. Oh well its still a pretty good one to have. Cool article though!
@ Phil:
I thought that was referred to as vampireism.
Maybe it’s incase she gets severely hurt. She’ll need to know her blood type in case an emergency surgery is required.
