Character occurrence frequency 2008 to 2016
Here are two diagrams that show how often the main and supporting characters of Sandra and Woo appeared in each year. Note that there were only 20 strips in 2008. The last year was really dominated by Larisa since she was the main hero of the very long story arc The Divine Comedy. Her percentage is further skewed by her appearence in almost all of the 17 simpler MS Paint Adventure inspired strips of that story arc. Nonetheless, all our regular supporting characters have once again appeared at least in two strips each last year.

- 2010: 107
- 2011: 106
- 2012: 104
- 2013: 100
- 2014: 104
- 2015: 104
- 2016: 115 (incl. 17 MSPA inspired strips)
Poor Cloud, gets no love anymore.
Ah, is there any sweeter way to start a new year than a pile of statistics and some graphs? Clearly, 2017 is going to be so much better!
We really need to see more cloud (not just him seeing his sister do something). Like interacting with sandra, larisa etc like the good old days. Woo really needs to get back in more as well with his friends. I’ve been here since 2011 and while its still good, 2016 has been the least enjoyable out the lot. You guys have made some great improvements this year, the stories just need a little old school revamp or a new direction. Keep up the great work in 2017 🙂
Wouldn’t make it more sense to display Ruth than Butterfly?
It’s All Good!
seems to me poor Woo is getting the short end of the stick, especially considering his name is in the title…
I just hope that there will be more comics expanding the universe.
I’d love to see a story where either Larisa or Cloud accidentally found out about Woo’s secret.
@ jon:
It would be awesome. For example – Cloud is standing behind Sandra’s room door. He wants to open them but suddenly hears two voices, Walks in but there’s only Sandra inside 🙂
Can’t get enough of Larisa, For me, she’s the most interesting character of them all, tho a little scary at times. 🙂
Heyyyy, some statistics. I haven’t commented in years but I check in every month or two, and I’m impressed with how much this comic delivers consistently funny strips. I know I say this every year, but we neeeed more Ben and Theo. The fact that they aren’t on this chart drives home the point that they need their own story arc or something. Or whatever. Cloud’s crew needs some love, is all I’m saying.
MSPA = ?
I wear socks with sandals :3 Well, on the extremely rare occasion I wear sandals, anyway 😛
Rhymes with Orange has this featuring a racoon in heaven:
@ Walter: Yeah, but that one has a trashcan, and that’s just not Woo’s style – he’d go for fresh worms.
Anon: MSPA is short for MS Paint Adventures, which you can search for.
