Raccoon power!

A lot of animals are capable of amazing feats that either we all or most of us are unaware of. My favorite animal fact is about praerie dogs:
Praerie dogs have some sort of language. Usually one of them stands guard so the others can focus on foraging. When a potential danger (usually a predator or other large unknown entity approaching) the guard warns the others. Apparently that warning shout also describes the approaching threat, for example the shout is the same when the same dog approaches. Different tribes of the same species appear to have the same language, so the warning shout for a big brown dog is the same in both tribes. It even works with entities that they normally don’t encounter (a teal triangle approaching generates the same warning in both tribes).
Different species of praerie dogs appear to have different languages but the properties described above apparently are true for other species too.

Those are really cool facts! I guess we don’t give animals enough credit.
