Poor Sandra. She just can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to photography.
Maybe next time something good will develop from her attempt!
Maybe, but she won’t be able to either explain or repeat it.
Love that expression in the last panel. Chronologically.
Sandra is on good terms with most of the gods we know of.
(The one who doesn’tlike her has been eaten and is, therefore, out of the picture.)
Larisa is best buds with the devil.
Between them, you’d think they’d have laid down the Law. Don’t prank Sandra!
I’d say the photonbros are in for a World of Hurt.
Questions like:
How did Larisa get there?
Does Sandra still have half?
Something about quantum physics.
A lot of things about quantum physics.
How are the photons using cameras? Are they using shorter wavelengths of light? If so, does this mean that photons enslave each other? And what wavelength light is used for these cameras? Visible light? If so, why can’t we see the cameras?
Are these microwaves?
How did they do the prank? Were they using the aforementioned photon enslavement?
Do their cameras use electricity? If so this raises more questions about quantum physics.
What are their hats, cameras and glasses made of?
Are photons conscious? How? If so, then are all bosons conscious? Are leptons and quarks conscious as well? Is our consciousness a collection of the consciousnesses of the subatomic particles that make up our bodies? If so then why aren’t all objects conscious?
Do they use the internet? Does it use the aforementioned photon enslavement?
How are they not moving if photons always move at c?
Why is time passing for them? Are they actually not moving at c? Do they have mass? Are they actually photons? Are they faking? Is this a conspiracy?
More questions about quantum physics.
Is Sandra a virgin?
And many other questions that I did not think of.
I’ll wait
Should have invested in the Caffeinated imps. They make much better pictures than those on decaf.

And; are little green leptons from Ireland known as “Lepritons”?? 😉
I got a book of basic photography tips over a decade ago and about three quarters of the first chapter was about shake- why it’s bad and the cause of blurry photos and how to get rid of it. After the point it said to use a tripod (basic tips now), it goes on to say to use the remote all the time! Because if you went to all that trouble, why then would you do something that requires using physical force to depress the button? And I couldn’t imagine a dSLR that didn’t come with one. Many of the tips in the book seemed like common sense once you learned them.
Of course, the internal mechanism of the camera, such as the shutter, will cause some shake too, but you can’t remove it all.
What? I am fairly sure she just needs to reset the aperture and iso settings, maybe lower the shutterspeed.
So confused….
@ Commentary Ver.2.72:
I was assuming the shutter speed/aperture were set to allow a quick shot. If shifting the ISO solves the blurriness, it may cause graininess. But still no excuse for not using a remote.
I like it, even though the strip is a little…(puts on sunglasses)… quarky.
I’m sorry, I’ll leave now.
Just read an article in Nature about the use of neural-network computing to analyze images magnified (and massively distorted) by gravitational lensing. Might help…
There are no real questions here, silly. Its cameras all the way down!
I imagine Sandra does a fine impersonation of Sam Kinison’s scream.
First it started with animaltalk, then all those not-so-almighty gods.. now the quantum mechanics is broken as well.. what’s next?
By the way, the wave function dude is so cool, i wish we could see him again.
After the last panel, I’ve got Particle Man, by They Might Be Giants, running through my head….

Just wanted to say that I LOVE your comment and its way of taking things too serious.
@ HMRC4EVR:
Nice pun.
May I suggest adding a ¨random¨ button to the comic navigation interface thingy? It´d be great for just flipping to a random comic instead of having to specifically navigate.
… So, we’re never going to get the second hidden version of strip #905?
How is the iso?
Did she clean the lens and everything?
Is the face-recognition activated?
Since she’s using a tripod, is the imagestabilisation turned off?
Is the camera in the usual automatic mode designed for idiots, where it assumes camera shake is the only possible problem with any photograph and has selected a ludicrously high ISO and shutter speed with an excessively large aperture? Resulting in photos with sensor noise and so shallow a depth of field you can’t actually get an entire person in focus at once?
It’s a particle and a wave 🙂
