- Woo: Looks like you’re gonna be spending the next month here with me and Sandra.
- Arcturus: Yeah.
- Arcturus: I’m super bored. How long till I can get out again?
- Woo: One month…
- Arcturus: ….. And now?

Oh… I’m sure he’ll love it
Oh, he is gonna dread that next month so badly. Poor little guy, and to think, 2 hour car trips are bad enough, 30 days? Gonna be torture for the boy.
In before video games. I mean, okay, there are no controllers of the right size but playing round based strategy games or rpgs or puzzle games should work fine. 🙂
Perhaps Sandra could help out with her human knowledge and technology…
Arcturus: And now?
Woo: Two million, six hundred and sixty-four thousand, eight hundred and thirty-one seconds, and counting.
Arcturus: That’s eleven seconds less than last time, isn’t it??
Woo: Yes it is! You’re good at this.
Arcturus: Yay! This is fun! What is it now?
Woo: Try reading the numbers with me again… *points at programmable countdown timer* two million…
Arcturus: But the number at the other end keeps changing, and it always throws me off. :•(

One month goes by real’ fast around these parts.
Are we there yet?

What she said! 🙂 …but sooner than me. 😉

No, not yet! *Sigh*
I’m surprised Arcturus isn’t looped up on pain medication right now after getting through all that surgery.
How old are the kits? Considering Lily is 3 years old and knew Woo for a little over a year (and they met during mating season) 1 month may be a lot of time for a raccoon. Still gonna be a kit then, but still
For animals, the time is always “now”.
“Papa Smurf, are we there yet?” xD
Boredom is basically torture for young minds. It’s one of the parents’ duties to feed them the right brain food. Pity most schools don’t care about ‘right’.
And I hallucinate that he can get out of bed sooner. He’s just not supposed to climb trees. Thanks for not killing him in an ill advised attempt at realism and forced drama. Some writers succumb to that.
if he gets into gamming needs a crossover with gamer cats little buddy glitch, talking smack to each other or co-op.

@ Black Pete:
You forget the special protection Arcturus has.
This is going to be an … interesting month.
Senju suggested videogames, but how bout a nice book to read, for example on survival? That way, Arcy can learn useful tips for avoiding situations like this in the future. He may even become an instructor for his siblings, and possibly their friends.
One month is going to be really long for a Raccoon. Arcturus will be significantly bigger after that month.

you can get mini controlers for kids
I have a strange feeling Arcturus and Richard will bond.
@ Drago Whooves:
Get the kit an iPad.
But Sandra and Woo make their living being amusing, as do the rest of the characters here. Shouldn’t be any problem keeping the kit amused.
Kids. They’re all the same, no matter what species they are. LOL.
@ Dina Kitty:
Son: “Are we there yet?”
Dad: “Almost. In fact, we’re so close you can walk the rest of the way.”
Son: “How close are we?”
Dad: “About 200 Km. On a cosmic scale, that’s hardly anything.”
Son: “200 Km? I can’t walk that far.”
Dad: “Sure you can, but it would take a long time.”
Son: “Is it OK if I stay in the car instead?”
Dad: “Yes. And when we get there, I will let you know.”
@ Chance:
LOVE IT!!! I had six younger siblings. WIsh I had known this one. 🙂
