Some minor health problems
I currently suffer from some minor health problems. Most notably, I’m constantly getting colds. There’s also some other stuff I have to take care of. Nothing serious, but we may miss a couple of updates if it goes on like this.
I thought I was the only one constantly getting sick over and over again. Hope you get well soon, and wish you the best with whatever other stuff you need to do.
Your health is a lot more important than updates. Take care of yourself; we’ll all still be here when your back up to snuff!
Get Well Soon! 🙂
I hope you get well soon!

Health is important. Do what you gotta do.
Should really get checked out by a doctor. I hope you get well soon.
Make sure you stay well and don’t get worse. I ignored mine and had to have my gullbladder removed in December.
Not fun at all.
Get well soon.
You can’t take a risk with your health, get to a doctor.
I really love the strip.
It may be influenza. I’ve had three different strains of it so far this flu season.
Just like we would rather have good comic updates that take a while to come out that rushed updates, we would rather have a healthy cartoonist that takes some time off than a sick cartoonist that’s pushing themselves.
Try the Vitamin D hammer. This is either 50,000 units vitamin D once, or 10,000 units 3 times a day for 3 days. Pretty much everyone in northern latitudes is Vit D deficient in the winter and that interferes with the immune system. You likely need to take 5000 to 10000 units daily regularly. Or, better, 5000 daily in the summer if you get some sun exposure, and 10000 units daily in the winter.
This is far higher than the usual amounts, but there is little doubt as to safety at these levels for an adult.
Never neglect your health. Get better and get well soon.
@ pls:
I take vitamin D3 in the winter but not in very high doses. 25ug, 1000 IU daily seems to be perfectly adequate. I’ve tried 250ug but is seems to make no difference. With vitamins if you get enough, more doesn’t help.
The only really good way to get vitamin D is through sun exposure.
But something else – I have a high brightness desk lamp (140W fluorescent) and on dark days I switch this on while working in the daytime. How you feel about colds and minor viruses does tend to be affected by mood, and bright light in daytime helps mine.
Can we have drawings of the artist meanwhile? Perhaps some bio of the four paws cast?
Recover soon.
If you miss a few updates, we will survive. (but barely) Get well soon.
Get well soon and make sure to drink plenty of liquids, one of my favorites, when I’m under the weather, is hot tea with lemon and honey and sometimes a little bit of whiskey to help the medicine go down a little easier as it were.
I might miss an update, but I’d miss -you- more! Take your time and do whatever you need to until -you- are comfortable updating again. Feel better soon, Novil!
