Bad omen!
Larisa breaks the law of physics once AGAIN!
Now imagine if she actually took the place of Thomas J. God….
So is anyone else thinking how much fun it would be if Larisa was her worlds’ Rainbow Dash? I mean, since she is controlling the weather…
Larissa, I think Sandra would prefer her own Cloud, not this one.
@ SIL:
Well pun.
Cartoon physics. Gotta love ’em.
Now that is a weird ritual to summon Zoey…
I assume we’ll get a classic understanding/forgiveness between Zoey and Sandra arc… kind of hope I’m wrong and Novil will spice it up somehow, as that just seems too easy, considering their history with each other…
What am I doing here? Obviously having my parade, you seem to have brought rain though….oh wait Larisa did that literally (she can do that too?!).
@ tofei:
Roger Rabbit rules. Only when we’re being funny.
I almost have to assume Michelle’s around someplace, now.
That seems like a fairly odd question, unless there’s some reason to expect Sandra to NOT be there. Maybe Sandra’s supposed to be doing something else right now, and she’s about to learn that the main thing she “won” in that election is more work?
Sandra looks weird in the second panel.
Also 10 strips to 1000. Can’t wait.
“Uh, I live here?”
Rainbow Dash, you are now jobless. I would mention Cartoon rules, but people are faster.
Enjoying this arc more and more.
my question is… why did she call Larisa, “Liz?”
@ NiveusLuna:
Also, she’s even violating the laws of chemistry. Forcing state changes, anyone?
Zoey is wearing one piece. I’m dissapointed.

It’s just a navel, get over it.

Dang; and I was hoping for a belly-button! 😉 🙂 🙂

… Fairly certain she’s underage, too.
@ NiveusLuna:
She usually does.
@ Osaru Sensei:
I reserve the right to lust after fictional characters, no matter how inappropriate it would be in real life.
And, once again, Larissa shows the laws of cartoonphysics just sit up and beg for her.
This implies that Zoe and Larisa has arranged to meet. What about? Or just hang out?
NiveusLuna wrote:
Having been frozen by Cloud’s ice water gun, Larisa’s hands reduced the temperature of the air in cloud sufficiently that it fell below said air’s dew point temperature. Hence water vapor is able to coalesce into rain droplets and thus it begins to rain over Sandra’s head (this is also how rain occurs in real life in case you were interested 🙂 )
PS2kid wrote:
Why don’t you have a seat over there, boy-o?
I would love if I could do that maybe without the water just to show people around me I being in a bad mood and don’t want to talk xD
I always get a little confused when Sandra calls Larissa “Liz.” It doesn’t quite seem like an appropriate nickname, and she almost never uses it, so I can’t get used to it.

So, countdown till thousand?
@ NiveusLuna:
It is Larissa… If you’re going to break laws, you might as well break a lot, and break them well… 😉

A Korelev… closer to reality then reality itself…
@ Walter:
Yes, and I’ve heard that the Queen’s Navel has been a particularly potent force throughout history.
YES YES YES! Zoey in a swimsuit, thank you!
Because blondes never go to the beach, eh Zoey? 🙂
Larisa = liz? I guess Lars is kinda weird…
@ Samurguy:
I suppose that she calls her that as short for LarISa, since “Lar” does sound kinda weird.
Samurguy wrote:
Also, Lars is a German/Norse boy name.
@ Samurguy:
And she just doesn’t strike me as a Larry.
Hm. Wonder if Sandra’s going to end up finding out about Zoey’s secret.
@ Shadow:
I’m not too altogether certain if Larisa even understood the need to keep it secret, let alone not tell Sandra.
Correct response: “Why, where am I supposed to be?”
Sandra is sitting in Michelle’s chair. This explains Zoey’s question in panel 4.
MidoriLuna wrote:
I think, considering what Larisa told Zoey in return (which we found out about later), she would keep it secret.
Also, before Zoey told her, Larisa did describe as a ‘secret’ and Zoey did not contradict her about it being a secret. With all of Larisa’s downfalls, I don’t think she would tell anyone else something described as a ‘secret’.
@ Shadow:
If Larisa told Sandra Zoey’s secret, it would really bring down her character. She seems to be forming some understanding with Zoey, and I really want to see where this goes from here.
NewEraOutlaw wrote:
I agree, Larisa sold her soul to the devil to save Sandra so she has very strong principles on obligations to others – she is just a little bit advanced for her age in certain matters. Definitely presented as the most complex of the characters in this comic.
methermeneus wrote:
It’s not. “Liz” is short for Elizabeth, the only shortening for “Larisa” I’ve ever heard is “Risa” (Pronounced “Reesa”)
@ NewEraOutlaw:
You did notice that I was arguing that Larisa probably DIDN’T tell Sandra Zoey’s secret, right?
@ Brijeka Vervix:
I am aware of how rain works IRL. I had forgotten about the freezing water from Cloud’s water gun, however. That does help it a bit… but it shouldn’t be able to pull *enough* thermal energy out of the air to make it rain.
