Here is the obligatory link to our ongoing Kickstarter campaign for the Sandra and Woo: 10 Years anthology and the art book The Art of Sandra and Woo!
Creating the books was a huge amount of work, but it all paid off in the end! The books turned out great and I’m very proud of them! I hope you’ll like them too.
If you have missed the news: International shipping is now available as well!
- Butterfly: No matter how difficult the climb is, you should never forget that the mountain is your friend.
- Butterfly: I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun together!
- Butterfly: On the other hand, pure hatred can also be very motivating.
- Flint: Good thing I brought the shovel.

That’s how I treat my friends!
I am extremly happy to se a fellow Sith Lord tackle the problem 😀
Good luck at the Bottleneck (presuming they’re using the traditional route up the Abruzzi Spur).
Where was he hiding the shovel???
I would just like to say a few words:
Novel and Powree simultaneously write two webcomics twice each weeks, one unfailing comedy, the other fantasy. Dispite being different genres, they both have amazing storylines and have never, to my knowledge, failed to uphold their update schedule. While doing this, they also have produced one, hang on a minute, two books, and all of these seperate endevours have art so detailed the a botanist could identify the flowers drawn. (That has actually happened before- see Gaia: The Tower in the Sky #1, the very first comment)
The mountain is NEVER your friend. It doesn’t love you. It doesn’t hate you. Worst of all, it doesn’t care.

My thoughts exactly. It’d make sense if it was smaller than his body.
But since, it’s a comedy, it’d make sense for him to pull that out of nowhere or hammerspace. I kinda laughed because of it though.

This comic’s title broke the RSS feed. (It seems that whatever software this site is running didn’t properly escape the less than sign, either in RSS or in the main HTML.)
It would seems climbing snow fun
@ AnotherBear:
“I hate these filthy neutrals Kiff, with enemies you know where they stand, but with neutrals who knows, it sickens me”
Butterfly is less than three K2s? well, yeah I guess so
…from “The Road to Utopia” after an avalanche:
Bob Hope: Am I dead?
Bing Crosby: I don’t know. You always look that way.
where did the shovel come from im concerned
For those who ask where he got the shovel. They are two Raccoons, with ‘human’ climbing equipment that flew to Pakistan to climb the K2 …
Taking that base, some other doubt?
@ AnotherBear:
I thought the big takeaway from this comic is that nature hates you and wants you to die?
I admit, there have been times when swearing “I will NOT come second to a block of wood!” has made chopping said block up for firewood deeply satisfying.
@ PJSam:
‘Hates you and wants you to die.” Nature, on its good days.
Yup the mountain was being friendly, it was giving you a sign not to climb it!
