- Cloud: Is there something you really hated as a kid, but now love?
- Ye Thuza: Getting spanked.
- Cloud: It’s too late, mom! I’ve already heard it!
- Ye Thuza: That’s not true! LA-LA-LA-LA-LA
- Disgust: Yup, that’s a core memory!

At least she admitted to enjoying specifically “getting spanked” rather than a more ambiguous answer like “spanking”! That would certainly be cause for concern for her children.
And now I’m curious, which of the kids in S&W get spanked by their parents (or have been in the past)?
Cloud? Almost certainly. We know Ye Thuza is a spanking mom.
Landon? Very probably, by his mother at least. Wouldn’t surprise me if it still happens as well. Landon comes across as the type of kid whose parents have gone a bit overboard with the discipline.
Larisa? Doubtful! Her relationship with her parents is just WAY too casual for her to ever have had to fear corporal punishment.
Sandra? Hard to tell. I don’t think we’ve ever seen her get in trouble even once, have we? Maybe she’s just naturally good natured, or maybe she is that way because Richard – although certainly a loving and gentle parent – isn’t afraid to lay down the law on any rare occasion when it is needed.
So uh, yup, I’m saving this one.
Where Rick’s Mind Wiping Device when you need it?
@ Titan:
Accidentally revealing kinks to your child? That’s a paddlin’.
Whoa, did not see that coming! I almost shot my apple juice across my desk. However, I have to say, this is actually a good development. Think about it, kids are much more open about talking to their parents regarding their sexual orientation, but the idea of a fetish – any sort of fetish – is still rather taboo.
Well it happened.https://twitter.com/ToHDraws/status/1087496687357231114
I’d really hate to see the island that forms from this core memory…
So I load the web comics I read all at once with a click of a button. As a results I have read this on about 3 time now. It has made me laugh every time….I could also see my wife answering just like that!
This is by far my favorite moment with Cloud’s family! Possibly in all of S&W!!
And the first two panels are all that were really necessary for the joke. (even though it took me a moment to actually get the joke. 😉 ) THANKS, Norvil & Powree! Perfectly scripted, perfectly illustrated!
This officially made it into my favourite s&w strips list.
Look at how fast that answer came! I needed to actuallyvthink about it to come up with an answer. She must have been thinking about related nsfw stuff not too long ago.
Also, loved Inside out! Waiting for a sequel, hoping.
Ladies and gentlemen and all you fine people in between, a moment of silence for our poor brother’s ears. Rest In Peace Cloud’s ears. You will never be forgotten.

Kinky! I approve!
Poor Cloud though…
everyone knows all parents are supposed to be virgins for the sake of their children’s sanity X3

nice simsons quote
@ TV_Junkie:
And Disgust is filled with joy!
I love how she’s lethal even when she doesn’t mean to.
This strip is always good, but on occasion it is transcendent. I think I broke something inside rolling on the floor laughing while trying to not wake up my wife or daughter.

…Or ‘heard’ from again. 😉
@ Titan:
That would depend on if it’s for foreplay or during intercourse. The act makes it kind of difficult to swing a paddle.
It’s been a whole day, and it’s still just as funny as it was this morning.
This is the best strip of the year so far.
@ Crystalgate:
You must not have been an imaginative child.
@ Klorix:
You’re right. I keep coming back to it again and again. I hope this like of giggles continues for at least another few days . . . if it can.
i’m a bisexual and a switch i figure that compensates for me being a picky eater :p
Interesting that her answer came as a reflex. That means she must’ve been pondering that question herself every now and then. When I read that question, my mind drew a blank, followed by a long list of things that are the opposite, i.e. I no longer like doing them.
However, sexual stuff would be an obvious answer, but since that depends on physical chemistry it doesn’t really count.
“Reading descriptive text boxes in comics” is something I didn’t do initially, but I started doing it long before I was an adult.
Looking at the comic panel: Eating pure vegetables is something I still don’t like to do, but I do like it if a bunch of them get cut up and fried, with some spices added, possibly rice, too.
That question is really hard.
this is great! xDDDD
What I like most about S&W is the ‘f*ck off Disney’ ideology.

Actually, roughly 3/4 of the time when my kids didn’t want to try something they ended up liking it once they tried it. Enough to the point that my wife was able to use statistics to be able to get them to try new things.
“You remember you didn’t like Brussel Sprouts either, until you tried them, right?”

Actually if the good genes come from the incestuous parent, the next generation is likely to get a double dose, same as the bad genes. Same chances for both. Recessive genes could be good or bad.
What’s black and white and red all over?
Oh myyyyy~
@ Qrez:
see though, that’s only a good thing when you’re a girl. a bisexual switch that is male and a picky eater is seen as someone with 3 bad traits vs 1 bad trait and 2 good ones for some reason xD
