Cloud, you have to deal with challenging encounters or stay in the low level areas. Can’t just expect life to be on easy mode cause you are a pretty ninja boy all the girls want, you’ve finished the tutorial. Time for a surprise boss battle. 😛 Dealing with your girlfriend’s insecurity issues.
First? I don’t have experience points to handle this situation?
That awkward moment when your girlfriends melts down in front of you and you have no idea why.
At least Cloud knows he’s in over his head, and calling for backup is the safest way to avoid sending the situation into a further downward spiral.
Granted Sandra would probably forgive him no matter how much he blundered, but this way at least he’ll gain experience w/o having to worry about the whole screwing up/forgiving part.
Hopefully, anyway.

Actually, I used to be a middle school teacher and consoling is something that simply has to happen on occasion. Yes, yes, I know that there is this giant “YOU MUST NEVER TOUCH A CHILD” bullshit but sometimes children need holding and if they can’t get it from a responsible adult, they’ll find it from someone else. And that’s when tragedy strikes.

Yeah, I don’t think “My gift is trash! I am trash” is exactly some double entendre or innuendo. Pretty sure anyone with a little empathy could easily figure those words are her voicing insecurity. Now Thomas I could buy falling into this situation.
