[1124] Yuna Is Full Of Energy
└ posted on Monday, 21 October 2019, by Novil
- Ye Thuza: Couldn’t you submit your cold fusion reactor made out of LEGO?
- Yuna: No. It only runs on super rare Princess Mononoke action figures that are impossible to get anywhere.
- Ye Thuza: Whatever happened to your entropy reversal machine?
- Yuna: I had to destroy it, don’t you remember?
- Yuna: My experiments are an infinite series of failures. I feel like I’ve no energy left in me…
- Ye Thuza: Aww, Yuna, don’t–
- Yuna: Wait! Infinite… energy…! I’ve got an idea!
- Ye Thuza: Hello, Ye Thuza Williams here. I’d like to increase the coverage of our homeowner’s insurance.
- Clerk: Again?!
No zero point reactors… Those things can blast away 5/6 of a star system…
I have a feeling their insurance premiums are higher than their mortgage payments.
@ Eric:
I’m surprised they even have someone willing to insure them considering the risk they pose.
When she says ‘coverage’, does she mean liability or square milage?
So… is she extracting energy from failed science experiments that had functioning prototypes but no funding?
Am reading Gaia too… I think when Yuna tests her idea for infinite energy is when all world lines go silent.
Yethusa, you really should’ve just convinced her to remake the hologram
“Cold fusion reactor made out of LEGO”
Do I detect a Robin Williams reference?
I think in panel 1 Yuna’s remembering the spanking she got for powdering Cloud’s action figures…
infinite energy = infinitely large explosion
Better get Larrisa’s number ready. She’s probably the only one of the gang who’s given any thought to “portal from the sun”-level flamethrowers. Everybody thinks in terms of squirt guns, and Yuna’s dealing with “Hoover dam burst” ideas. In a desktop box.

Not an exact science but…Rodney, can you give your ego a rest for one second?!
She uses Ghibli action figures as fuel?!?
Maybe Yuna does have the makings of a super villain.
Hey! Remember that you promised to respect laws of physics in this house!
Wait a minute. Does Ye Thuza have the insurance company on speed dial?
Just a little idea:
“Hello, Ye Thuza Williams here… yes, THAT Ye Thuza Williams. I’d like to….”
Most characters get a little light bulb over their head when they get a good idea. Yuna apparently gets a quasar galaxy with active radio jets.
Ye Thuza is usually pretty practical. I’d really think she would have figured out how to monetize Yuna by how.
@ Wizard:
Yes, she gets a stipend form the government to NOT allow Yuna’s toys get out and destroy the economy/nation/galaxy/souls of the innocent.
A POCKET UNIVERSE?
Princess Mononoke Action Figures are not realy rare. Between $0,99 and $630.

However, I suppose Yuna remember spanking! 😀
@ Hegel Marx:
She didn’t specify in what quantity she needs them either.
@ Paeris Kiran:
I understood that reference.
I’d like to see Yuna write a physics textbook. 🙂 (Possibly with “some” censoring by Ye Thusa? 😉 )
@ Hegel Marx:
@ LTalon:
Yuna said it needs super rare figures that are impossible to find, so maybe she wasn’t assesing the market value of Princess Mononoke figures, but instead highlighting the peculiar nature of the reactor’s fuel source: that is, she might not have meant that all Princess Mononoke figures are super rare and impossible to find, rather that her reactor only runs on the specific Princess Mononoke figures that are super rare and impossible to find.
@ MidoriLuna:
Yes.

Laws of physics in the S&W universe seem to be weirder then in Gaia. 😀

@ Kevin M:
…that makes… entirely too much sense.
because every home should have a back yard supernova.

A true Korelev… CLOSER TO REALITY THEN REALITY ITSELF.
The most unbelievable part of this comic is that Ye Thuza was able to get on the phone and get a customer service representative instantly. That usually requires at least two minutes of listening to unskippable robots and entering prompts.

@ Kevin M:
Ooh, interesting crossover theory!
Hey Novil, what software do you use for these comments?
Look Yuna, an easy and simple way to achieve whatever you were thinking!?
