woo-hoo a new story arc!
So I copied the katakana from the title, and used Google Translate, and the English came out as:
Sandra and Wu. ^_^
And I just noticed that kitsune-Wu has at least seven tails…
So, with the yukata and the surrounding snow, Sandra gives off some yukionna vibes to go with kitsune-Woo. Intentional or accidental?
It’s been a rough week for me. This cute piece of art made me feel a little better. Thank you.

I’m surprised Google Translate gave you back a “wu”, because there isn’t really a “woo” sound in Japanese. Those last two characters read ” Uu “. It’s about as close as their phonetics get. The only time they really pronounce a “w” sound is when they say “wa”; they don’t really parse the English letter w by itself, because to their ears and writing system, it’s “half of a sound”.
As another example, they way they pronounce “whiskey” comes out like U-i-su-ki
I haven’t exactly counted up myself, but I was told once that English (a.k.a. Europe’s linguistic dumping ground) has about 3000 phonetic sounds in it, and Japanese only about 300. There’s often a lot of approximations happening when they try to pronounce English words.

If Foradain is going to Google Translate for that short line of Japanese, he probably doesn’t know the difference between hirogana and katakana. The hiragana “to” means “and”, which GT translated properly, so I’m not sure what you’re getting at.
Almost kinda surprised you didn’t make this a KiKi KaiKai/Pocky & Rocky reference.
