[1165] Tiger

- Hitomi: Yukiya always comes late because he works much.
- Richard: Is it possible that you’ve got your eye on him?
- Hitomi: Oh no! Is it that obvious?!
- Richard: Ha ha, yes.
- Hitomi: But Yukiya never gets Hitomi’s hints!
- Richard: He probably thinks you’re just friendly. This is a maid cafe after all.
- Richard: I guess you have to be a bit more aggressive.
- Hitomi: Hitomi more aggressive?
- Richard: Yes.
- Hitomi: Hitomi more aggressive! Hitomi tiger, not kitten!
- Richard: That’s the spirit!
- Hitomi: Rawrrr. Now what?
- Yukiya: <HELP!>
Wrong meaning of word “aggressive”
Not THAT aggressive, Tora-Hitomi! DX
Oops. Nothing like taking a metaphor a little too literally. Now Richard’s got the unenviable task of trying to salvage this situation (and Yukiya having his after work tea elsewhere at the very least…)
Richard was asking for that, using figurative terms when English is Hitomi’s second language.
She’s a little confused but she’s got the spirit.
She is certainly not the shy and blushing type when she know what she wants! 🙂
Suprise

Also I feel reminded to Flora’s pounces (from TwoKinds).
A for effort!

Especially when the other language is something as complex as Japanese.
Now what, indeed? This is wonderful.
Perhaps a tackle hug would have been better?
‘Maid mauls male. Misaligned metaphor main motive.’
I think I would have used the word “assertive” instead of “aggressive”. This is more funny though.
How I met your mother.
Hitomi and Woo would get along just fine.
Now I kinda want the arc to end With Hitomi attacking Richard in a similar manner.

I also suspect that Hitomi and Ye Thuza would get along as well…

Still, does takes a certain kind of person who takes words on their face value and doesn’t stop to think why someone would suggest assaulting and mauling someone.
Even if it was someone you hate, you don’t need be stupid enough to go beat them just because someone said you should.
I think the ship has been unsunk.
@ Crestlinger:
Well done good sir.
Pouncing seems to be in the air – over in Puck Daphne pounced on Tyler just last week.

Just don’t let her get anywhere near Yuna for any length of time… 😈

Alliteration FTW! 😀
Well, alright, no worries, this can still be made to work. It all depends on whether the guy was himself interested; if he was, a little thing like bite marks on the back of his suit collar can be finessed.
Well, dang. Now I like her even more.
Probably loses something in translation.

@ Baltor:
I thought sure you were going for this one:

@ Iron Ed:
Dangit! -I- have no way to merge these…
Anyway…
That’s one way to get rid of a rival, sic a tiger on him!! 🙂
…I’d dig that
@ Crestlinger:
Moe maid mauls male. Man’s mistakenly misaligned metaphor main motive, maybe?
The plan is coming together. Just Sabotage this, and we can move back onto the right ship. Keep up the good work Richard. Your new cat girl anime wifu depends on it.
Maybe a little less “more aggressive.”
That’s his plan: Make sure the guy doesn’t like her so that he can ask her out instead,
@ Crestlinger:
Confused cat can’t comprehend courtship customs, crashes customer.
@ Trimutius:
She forgot the “a bit” part. Make an Emergency Call to Larisa, immediately!
