[1172] The Duality Of God

- Ye Thuza: This is my shrine for Tetsuya Nomura, the director of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Three times a day, I thank him for the wonderful world full of charming characters and gorgeous locations he has created.
- Ye Thuza: This is my voodoo doll of Tetsuya Nomura. Three times a day, I use it to punish him for ruining some of the most emotional scenes with his stupid dementors and for the loony ending.
- David’s father: May I introduce you to George Lucas’ Star Wars?
- Ye Thuza: There is a God. And he has a sick sense of humor…!
I gotta admit, that is the perfect response.
Can you hammer those nails in a few times for what he did to Aya Brea in The 3rd Birthday? (And maybe a few more times for what a damned mistake that game was?)

Also note that Han Solo shot first.

You’re forgetting that besides being one of the most iconic installments in the franchise and one of the best videogames ever made, Final Fantasy 7 was and still is a huge inspiration for Novil and heavily influenced the characters in the series, not in the least of which was having two of them named after characters from said game.
I’ve seen the demo and watched some gameplay, and while it’s nice to see everything in remade in HD, some things can and cannot be improved upon.
Still, three pins to the nuts is kinda harsh.
@ ehrgeiz0:
With exception that FF7 wasnt best of franchise, it doesnt land even 2nd place actually
So… are we gonna get back to the Richard in Japan arc soon?
@ HKMaly:
Han Solo did NOT shoot first… he shot ONLY.
Greedo never fires, he just threatens Han with a… lasergun or whatever… ‘cept, that is, maybe, in some BS remake or ex-post-facto revision that I am wholly unconcerned with.
There are FOUR lights, THREE Star Wars films, and only ONE Matrix.
As for Indiana Jones flicks… I’d say there’s about 2.5, and the .5 only because I love Sean Connery, who was the only good thing about THAT film. Otherwise it kinda sucked. And DO NOT get my started on that Crystal Skull nonsense.
They say that every child is a born artist, but the problem is they don’t know when to STOP and ruin the very art they create. Some children apparently never grew up and Lucas is apparently one of these. He could have left well-enough alone and moved on to bigger and better, but NO… just had to click around with his old stories… Or is that Spielberg I’m thinking of… well, one, the other, or both.
Yeah, no. I respect artists who have the guts to let their original work stand, and you can see how they evolve over the course of, for example, a webcomic.
