Lava moat is a good start.
If you want real defence, you will want to combine that lava moat with a plasma wall.
You will need a strong enough energy source to convert the air to plasma and a strong enough magnetic field in order to manipulate the plasma into a wall.
Once completed Sandra house would be a literal fortress of fire.
Best check the home owners association on proper distance from the property line.
With that you could have a lava BBQ.
