Naw. That ain’t fast at all!
Richard do you know what “Warp speed” is?
Remember kids: if you want to get a man, go through his stomach!
I know they say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach but damn. And Sandy you too?
Isn’t “Will you cook for me for the rest of my life?” considered a proposal anyway?
There has never been a more clear case of someone going faster than light
He is going to lose his freedom for a strawberry cake. 🙁 Another one who is way too immature to be considered an adult!

@ Paeris Kiran:
Not fast enough…. prepare for Ludicrous speed…..
It’s like my momma always said “the fastest way to a mans heart is through his arteries”
Actually, the fastest way to a man’s heart is through the ribcage. That’s just basic biology.
There is no doubting your affection when it is toward a #SupremeChef. You either want her for her food, or you love her AND her food. There is no middle ground. If you aren’t sure of your feelings, you already love her; you just haven’t eaten what she’s cooked yet to push you over the edge.
I mean, she unexpectedly moved across the world to see him, it’s not that unreasonable 😛
Wait, are these savages eating the cake with spoons? 😱
After watching K On! I should not be surprised by this reaction.
@ Hegel Marx:
I miss those Sandra and Woo colored comics
@ L:
But I don’t want a man. I-I want a woman! 🙂
@ Tony5n:
Same. Colored comics have a certain quality to them that can’t be captured in the black and white, but the latter is faster to produce.
Granted, I wouldn’t mind getting one a week… especially if they released it on Sundays.
Now watch Hitomi NOT accept his proposal…yet. For her, it’s not time…yet…😏
Her English is improving. She said “I”

Technically that would be most direct route, but bone is hard and would take some time to get through … Coming up, from the stomach, under the ribcage would likely be faster … It’s all soft tissue.
Another German-Japanese alliance
(Looks like Japan isn’t the only country with age-gap issues)

Still not fast enough! Activate LINT WARP!
I mean, that’s not that much of a surprise.
They already talked about having children,
Sandra is totally on bord,
Hitomi moved to another continent for him and most importantly
Richard loves her cake.
They are way to deep in to get out gracefully. They might just as well go all the way.
In south Italy they have a saying, that sounds like “hot female, will be your lover, female good at cooking, will be your wife”…could be sexist, but IMHO it’s correct…
Today’s comic is exactly the level of realism that I enjoy from Sandra and Woo. This is about as realistic as the secret underground tunnels to the North Pole, i.e. not very realistic, and I am totally happy with it this way. I also love that Sandra somehow had pom-poms close at hand, probably in Hammerspace.
Secret tunnels: http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2020/07/27/1198-hollow-earth/
Kosa c’era in kuel dolceh… (what did you put in that cake, more or less…)
This is my favourite cake cartoon since Kate Beaton’s Richard III one:

Please say yes.
I’ll miss you, Hitomi. I don’t want to miss you…
@ Paeris Kiran: At least one quantum level slower than he’s going!
@ Turrosh Mak:
From just under the sternum, actually. Just ask your local Aztec high priest.
I’d honestly thought the proposal was made several comics ago with other of his questions. But I suppose a formal one never hurts!
Whether it’s “moving too fast” or not, Richard, you’ve had the very serious conversations that an engaged couple has. While it’s not “too late” to back out, I don’t think either of you want to, and as she’s shown to be happy moving into your life here…
It is fast. It probably is fine, though. There aren’t any major warning flags (that can’t be waved off as comedic elements of the comic, anyway).
I mean, someone who can make good cake is not something to be ignored!
A little slow, maybe.

Actually in the South of Italy, there’s a good chance the woman is both.
Cute, can cook, and your kid likes her. what more do you need?
@ AnotherBear: my gramma was one of them…..(she was half-Sicilian)
So this is officially a remake of season 2 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, huh
@ steveha:
Of course there aren’t any secret underground tunnels to the North pole. They’d be flooded. They’re to the South pole.

Jon Hendricks (Lambert, Hendricks, Ross) did that decades ago – “Feed me (the way to my heart is through my stomach).

My god, they’ve gone plaid…
“The fastest way to a man’s heart is through the fifth left intercostal space, at the midclavicular line. ”
You’re not looking at it the right way. It’s common for immigrants to have a Green Card Marriage. But in this case, Hitomi is moving into a household in a country where same-sex marriages are possible. Sandra is celebrating that she gets to keep Hitomi as well as being available to put a ring on Cloud.
wll.. this escalated quickly 😀
@ Daniel:
Ok, so you got me. What else would they eat it with?
@ Brett P Bellmore:
You know i didn’t even consider that when reading it the first time 🤔
Yes.
Yes!
Y-E-S!
@ rpr:
“Che cos’hai messo nel caffè, che qua lo zucchero non c’è…”
Wait, what’s with all (2, actually) the Italian comments?
il biggo wrote:
When you have Italians, you get comments–usually shouted.
@ steveha:
The secret tunnels were under the south pole, not under the icecap of the north pole.
I didn’t catch it at the time, but this was a darling comic to post on my birthday. <3
