For JMR insiders, this would have been even funnier with the classic rival teams Raspberry Racers and Limers. But then one of them would have had to make the conscious decision to pick the Limers! That’s too outlandish even for Sandra and Woo!

Given that the fluffy guy has apparently only just discovered the marble races at all, him choosing the Limers wouldn’t be too outlandish. A new member of an audience can never be blamed for being ignorant, because he IS new, and hasn’t had the opportunity to understand the nuances.
Of course, if the very next strip is a cut to the next day, where the fluffy guy has spent last night on an #ArchiveBinge for the marble races, and he and Richard STILL have a rivalry, then I understand why you wouldn’t want him to maintain the Limers support.

The first race I watches was the first race of this year’s Marbula One season. I thought that Yellow Eye showed real winner mentality with how he even kept the top spot after the restart. So I picked CCE as my team.
Team Galactic! They’re never very good overall but they’re amazing at the long distance sprints!
Team Momo for me, I love the teammates names, and the injury Momo suffered a few years back was tear-jerking.
But I discovered JML for the summer Olympics, and Momo was not so good, so Minty Fresh is my second favorite team. Can’t root for more teams, do I do appreciate a good sportsmanship performance when I see one.

What is complicated or interesting or competitive about rolling marbles downhill? I rather bet on Pinewood Derby cars.

Find the channel and watch a few….it’s not just the race, it’s the commentary and crowd background noises that bring it to life.
And the for Marbula E race series, the normal commentator was joined by a guy who calls Formula E races. That says a lot.
In most sports I choose a team based on who has the best logo so… Crazy Cat’s Eyes!

I picked the O’Rangers way back during the first Marblelympics (sp?) and have been a fan for life (I stumbled across his channel when all he was doing was showcasing his giant marble runs that he built for exhibitions). Greg Woods (who does the American commentary) is a real gem.

Who cares about the bets? The races are so fun to watch. I’ve been an O’Rangers fan since I first heard their cheer, although I don’t mind if Balls of Chaos or Raspberry Racers win. The RR never seem to win though.

I spend most of last weekend on JMR (@Novil: thanks for making/ruining my weekend), starting with the current Marbula One season, and became a Green Ducks fan in less than three races.
