Now I realize why the band arc turned to this direction.

… huh. I was going to say “I really hope we get confirmation that they’re getting older, because afaik they’re still only 12, which gets into edgy territory”, except… this *isn’t* any more adult than anything that’s gone on between Sandra and Cloud. Hell, it’s rather less so, to be honest. Dear godcat, society’s homophobic conditioning is subtle.
In other news, glad to see that Sandra’s able to take the initiative with Zoe at times. It’s important for there to be back-and-forth within a relationship. Hope the three of them can make it work.

While Novil is no stranger to twists and/or dreams, it’s hardly unrealistic for Sandra to figure out that she’s bi. This is not easy stuff and people come to it at different times. She might be bi, she might be intrigued enough to experiment but decide she’s not. Kudos to Novil for taking on a challenging topic.
That was 8 years ago! And I didn’t say that I would never do it.
I see we’re going back to our roots, huh? Can’t wait to see how this turns out.

I like the nervous look on Zoey in that first panel. Not overdone, no stuttering or anything, just letting you know her jitters are still firmly in place.

When I scrolled back up to look, I could not find any hint of stockings. They I realized I needed to scroll up -one- more click of the wheel. The thin line at the top of the pop-up was just solid enough to look like the bottom edge of the panel-box. 🙂 (Notice that pop-up box has gotten noticeably taller lately. Grrr.. 🙁

Not much beating around the bush in this comic these days. I mean, this is quite unlike the long build-up and drama that lead to Sandra and Cloud hooking up. Now we’ve instead got Sandra and Zoey exploring their relationship and taking it to the next level within just a few weeks of them first balling around with the possibility of doing so.
Personally, I’m not sure we even need an antagonist in this comic aside from one-offs. I mean, Zoey wasn’t exactly a super active one to begin with, and ever since the start of the comic she’s been portrayed as a kind-of pitiable victim to Larisa’s counter-bullying… I’ve also personally had a hard time considering her an outright antagonist ever since her coming-out arc (which was almost 9 years ago): The moment she said “maybe we should stop doing horrible things to each other” she became an on-off rival or frienemy at worst in my eyes…

At this point I’m hoping it’s not a dream. I was the one screaming: We’re being trolled! If the payoff is Sandra figuring out her sexuality. I’m on board.
We got a dike who’s totally into Sandra, Larissa who clearly swings both ways, and Cloud who is totally looking forward to a foursome.
There is a point where we needed to stop and we have clearly passed it. BUT LET’S KEEP GOING AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
I don’t know what to say to this, but I like it. It’s not some sort of sex thing, as some would assume with people kissing. Action is action, and you cannot go bravely into your day if you avoid every confrontation. It’s not like Sandra or Zoey were lining up people of bad character for it.
We do need to keep in mind that Sandra has always been, uh, romantically assertive. [[http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2011/12/22/0336-the-poem-iv/]] So her grabbing Zoey by the lapels should come as no surprise.
As I understand it, Sandra loves Cloud, but she wants to enjoy carnal love with someone else. And everyone’s fine with that. Or is this still Novil’s revenge?
