Food chain t-shirt
I aaaahhh...well, I fucking wrecked my Food Chain t-shirt. http://i.imgur.com/0M2g6pV.jpg It was not a thing I was able to save by the end of the event. However, I miss it. Seriously, any forum users will know of me and my love of the Food Chain t-shirt, from the moment I got it to its untimely deat...

Re: You might be pleased to know...
That would be Street Fighter IV, I believe. Gaming bar in Manchester. Also yes. I have a lot more bald than I had when I first posted a picture of the t-shirt when it arrived. It is such a favourite. Seriously, the quality is fantastic, outrageously comfortable, fantastically tailored to fit and ver...

I'm still getting a lot of use of of my t-shirt. Yep. Going on a good few years now. Though you'd enjoy that, anyway.

Re: Now in the color
I am loving the colour strips. Sandra & Woo is becoming such a model of how to build a comic.
However, the IMPACT of some of the strips has a lot to do with Powree's ability with contrast. It'd be a shame to lose that for technicolour in all cases.

Re: Wait what?
I've watched two episodes out of sheer curiosity. When a fad comes along I want to surf that wave and see what it's all about. If I had to make a guess I'd say it's The Magic Roundabout Syndrome. Back when The Magic Roundabout was being aired for the first time, a decision to change the time to an e...

Re: Reporting spelling and grammar mistakes
You've made a few small grammar mistakes on this post (all in the same sentence) (which if you didn't notice, may be made again on the comic). "However, neither me nor Powree is a native speaker" Here the 'subject' is plural -'neither me nor Prowree'- so the verb has to agree with the sub...

Re: Legit comments marked as SPAM
Fair enough. It would be nice to see a more....core community, I agree. Surely there must be some incentive that'd migrate the commenting masses (of which there are plenty) to the forum for more interaction? It'd only be a benefit in the long run, I feel. Also, that avatar of mine needs changing. Tsk.

Re: Legit comments marked as SPAM
I shouldn't wonder if maybe removing the comments mightn't be a bad idea. This may seem strange, I know, given how opposed I was to it before, but a couple of considerations: 1. The comment-rating thing is a bit of a circle-jerk 2. The issue you've raised 3. The forum has died a death, may as well n...

"Morning in a bar" - Bree Sharp.
She wrote a song about David Duchovny that was so geeky and brilliant that I looked into her other stuff and now I have a crush on her song-personality
Her cover of "Boys of Summer" turns the song on it's head

Re: What are you listening to?
I did a cover of Blink 182's "What's my age again?" and I'm listening to that. There's an event horizon when I record a song where I like it and then I realise just how tuneless my voice is and all is loathing so I'm milking this one.

Did you ever check out Delta Goodram, Melissa Schatz or Dar Williams? Looking at that list, I reckon you'd get a real kick out of them (particularly Dar, who weaves narratives into her singing with a gentle ease). I'll do a Top Ten For Now, because this is one of those lists that'll always be changi...

As a fairly dedicated S&W fan I'd like to ask why the comments have been disabled. Now, I want to point out that I'm not challenging the decision, but regardless, this is a comic that was brave enough to have a "Best of" and "Worst of" section on the forum. That was challengi...

I sympathise with the 'English as a second language' thing. English is very confusing for a non-native speaker. I really struggled when I was in school with the language, especially because I was in the UK system.

Or you could remove a character and every trace that they'd ever been in the comic. People keep trying to do that to me with life, so I recommend it to anyone.
