While the site is loading fine on my home internet and notebook, on my smartphone I am receiving the following:

HTTP Error: 504
Gateway Timeout

I also asked a friend of mine to try it, so I can be sure it's not the fault of my smartphone. But my friend receives the exact same error with his smartphone.

“Gateway Timeout” sounds like a routing problem. I suspect that you would have been not able to access other websites hosted by Host Europe as well.
