Poll results (Part 3 of 3)
Here is the third and last part of my presentation of the results of the polls at Sandra and Woo. The first part was posted on Sunday, the second part on Tuesday.
Poll from 6 April 2010:
Most of the readers who voted for “Link at another webcomic” probably also clicked on an advertisement banner since there are not that many “real” links to Sandra and Woo on other webcomic sites.
Poll from 6 April 2010:
I’m surprised by the high number of votes for “Other religion”. What important other religions are not mentioned? Is Sandra and Woo particularly popular among Bahá’í? Seriously, I have no idea…
Poll from 9 May 2010:
Most of our readers would give their child the name of a popular fictional character, but maybe not “Cloud”. 😉
Poll from 9 May 2010:
Maybe I should add a “Dating” section to the website. So many lonely hearts… 😉
Poll from 9 May 2010:
The amount of pop culture references in Sandra and Woo is just right.
Poll from 9 May 2010:
There have not been many strips about political topics since November last year, so their amount also seems to be just right now.
Poll from 9 May 2010:
82 % of our readers are more or less happy with their life.
Poll from 9 May 2010:
We’ll talk again after your self-conscious, talking pet dog accidentally erased your hard-drive.
For the record, I would give my child the name of a fictional character, probably Laguna or Zack, since they’re awesome.
I don’t see a problem with naming children after fictional characters! Video game characters, however… I suppose it depends on the character.
It would be very, very interesting indeed if I ever meet anyone named “Bartz”… Or worse, “Butz”…
Regarding the April 6th poll.
I’m guessing that there is a large group of pagans reading this comic. 🙂
In the army, I met three legitimate vikings who believed in the old Norse gods (Thor, Odin, Loki, etc.). I also met a couple of Shamans… so there are undoubtedly a wide range of unmentioned religions. Add them all up and you get a group of “unidentifieds” who are larger together than many “identifieds”.
I know of a native kid. His name is Thunder. I’d like to believe that his parents are black mages…
“I’m surprised by the high number of votes for “Other religion”. What important other religions are not mentioned? Is Sandra and Woo particularly popular among Bahá’í? Seriously, I have no idea…”
Well, I guess there’s a lot of discordian popes out there. And then there’s the curch of the flying spaghetti monster, and i think I heard about an actual jedi religion too…
Just ask google for more information.
@ purphoros:
Or ask wikipedia. Here’s a list, although it’s probably not complete.
